Hi, I'm having a problem showing the shading in the main editing window, after applying the shading i can only see it when i render the image (ctrl R) in the render preview window, but i cant see any shading at all in the editing window. hope you understand what i'm trying to say here.
hahahahahaha! yeah that little "accident" in 0:30 really DID look kinda disturbing. lol ur really good though! it's an honor to watch your videos. i feel confident that i'll actually learn something that will surely be valuable to my steps towards becoming a mangaka.
Wow, that is a nice, clean and easy method. Thank you so much for posting this. I was taking such a difficult route of using a masked layer and hand-drawing an organic shadow shape with opacity for subtlety. It looks nice until the animating kicks in and then it becomes a pain. Your method will help me out in a big way and will save me so much time. I can't wait now to see how improved my next animation will be. Please do more tutorials!

Can you do highlights in addition to shadows?
mchance27 1 year ago
@mchance27 yes, you can do the same method but adjust the colour of the shadow.
