    'alcohol beverages permitted'.

    rotfl XD

  • good to know the world of freerunning is getting bigger give me a message if you want to join my team

  • Where the hell was this filmed?! That park is killer man!

  • i watch his and tried to do all of this for 4 months and i still fail...

  • @mrmrmrwatermellon dont worry about man...parkour is not a sport . Its a discipline for You . 4 month,4 years.....it doesnt matter . You have to practice for Yourself . Not for each other . Did You fail ? Ok , stand up and do it again . If You are human , not robot , You have to do one move for thousand time and than ... it may be good . Dont worry and never back down ! Train safely . Peace (sorry for English )

  • @MrFuckingZero 100% agree dude. This applys to most thing's in life. Good comment.

  • @matoy77 thx-i had a same problem-i know what im talking about :) . thank You

  • Speak up!

  • very true, if u stop half way through a flip, which will happen if you arent confident with ur body, to avoid this, learn the full technique, get all footwork correct and landing too, lets face it, if you stop between a flip...ur gonna land on ur head...fact :/

  • He seemed very enthusiastic.

  • In general use common sense.

  • hehe i triend to jump over a bech that you often see in a park and the split second before i jump i stop, i slip and i hit my knee so hard against it that there was a fraction in my bone ... now i can't help it but i have a annoying trauma when it comes to jump over benches ^^

  • how can i do parkour without teach somebody

  • I saw a video 2 years ago "Straddle Planche clapping push ups" and I wanted to do it so great, now i can do Planche clapping push ups and i don't really know if i am "allowed" to start parkour i mean i just tried to do that thing many many times and did it in the end but i think parkour is something harder? Can anyone answer please?

  • @JamesAshcraft do the push up many times and then try it

  • hey. check out my 1 video, it's 23 seconds long, and I really need help in order for me to get better! thank you

  • That place is awesome, now i dont know the name of it, but i do know where it is, seattle washington, thumbs up so evryone can see an awesome parkour place

  • nice tutorial is true almost all the begginers don't respect he own level

  • @Thelust2

I don't know if you're being serious or not: If so then that's awesome but understand that all Traceurs/Practitioners have respect for everyone else regardless of their skill level.

  • @Thelust2

    Of course you are -_-

  • i hate ads

  • hi im jigglily wigglily

  • I don't think I've ever seen this many videos on one account. . . 138,756.

  • @perpetualvoice

    TehNevs has a few 10,000's

  • this is great for those beginning with the parkour also makes things funner in the end of the training cause by then you can do anything possibly try new things :D

  • oops i write hearts..its hurts. my bad

  • I'm a beginer and I should have seen this video before. everything he said is true. now my legs and knees hearts. do what he says, this is serious

  • @DDIISSalvo yeah..but from time to time you everything will gonna be such a routine! you will have to train yourself every day...this is what i'm doing :D

  • @ANGERFiST1911 yeah me too, i'm training everyday. i started doing parkour two months ago and i'm from a very small town where nobody does parkour. as in this videos says: "you should do parkour with someone who knows a little", but i'm alone here jaja i'm learning alone, i have no teachers. nobody who recommends me. how long have you been doing parkour?

  • @ANGERFiST1911 Same as you exactly xD!! no body does parkour here too :/ only me and some of my classmates ^^

  • Comment removed

  • i dont think this vid is necessary. if your dumb enuff 2 do that then u shoudn't b doing parkour

  • i did mistake #2 and now i have a sprained ankle

  • So a stupid mistake would be just starting out for like a month in parkour and try to do Off building jumps?

  • Training parkour isn't just playing around. It's a real method of training, and if you don't aim to get very resiliant and very strong, the body will sooner or later give up.

  • @hampsteadschoolsucks dont cry ;D jk that sucks

  • The most important is the rule about commiting yourself. I tried a high monkey swing* and partially backed out and ended up slipping a disk in my spine after the hard landing. When I backed out my fingers slipped and I fell on my back. COMMIT!

    *look it up

  • omg ads. skip them 0:01

  • I wish i watched this when i first started i was put back a few weeks by going out and going "Oh man look a really high drop im going to do that!" then after i did that drop there went 2 weeks of training my legs hurt so bad I couldn't run or twist my ankle.

  • They need to learn from their own mistakes !!! they possibly need help after this phase !

  • You're right but I also think that it's not good to take beginners' happiness when they succeed a jump or something even if it's dangerous because After that they can understand the risks ,and possibly discover their abilities for themselves, that's also a way of training , and probably that's the way you , me and other traceurs learned ... escuse my English... that's all , cheers , Great videos !!!

  • that was cool

  • yes daddy

  • i think this guy need a little more technique changes on his speed vault.

  • ORLY! O,O

  • where was this video about one week ago. monkey valut didnt go so well :-/ stupid payment needs to learn to feel like grass when someone is falling on it

  • I been training for 2 month and I can already Tic Tac to Cat Leap, is this normal ?

  • hey whats the diference between freerunning and parkour?

  • @gta4assasin Free running usually involves flips, tricks, and flairs that Parkour runners dont do as it wastes energy. Parkour is simply going to point A to point B as fast as you can.

  • can you plzzz manage your video in a step by step tutorials. so that it would easy for us to learn

  • LOL!that why i always hurt my leg(whole leg) cause i am just a beginner but i done advanced skill instead of thos basic :/

  • Good tips.

  • This guy is easy to understand for Parkour/Free Running lessons.

  • @ymk19 I agree but his "way of parkour" hoodie is a bit stupid using the Kanji used mainly to describe martial arts. Admitedly it was stolen from the ninja but parkour is not a fighting art.

  • @TheAutumnAyane Of course Parkour is not a fighting Martial Art.

  • @ymk19 Thats why it doesn't make sense adding "道" on the end of it.

  • it's kinda hard not to do it in a safe place because i can't do it in a safe place

  • omg

he didnt say nuthin bout rolls, all the begginners i see land and then roll.

    THATS NOT RIGHT

at no point shud u stand when u land, make ur legs loose and go straight into the roll

  • that would sort of explain how i broke my arm

  • @patriksund it depends on if u did the roll right dont push urself to hard

  • thanks 4 the help really helps my friend drop from a 15 feet gap broke his leg :S

  • Interesting stuff. I've been wanting to try parkour myself, but I'm wondering... what's the recommended drop height when you are a beginner?

  • Try not to take many drops. Nothing higher than yourself is the general rule.

  • Thanks! I'll try and stick to lower drops then. Appreciate your advice. :)

  • No problem. :)

  • @DecepticonLeader 2 inches ;)

  • @Firedrakul2 Nah, I'm probably not that inexperienced. I realized after watching these videos that I have been doing parkour more or less since childhood. :)

  • @DecepticonLeader

all depends on you how high can you jump

  • thanks man realy helped

  • That would explain why I've currently got braces on my knees. xD Not to major though :/

  • @CrazyCrayolaChic haha me too X_X

  • @zacharydm5 rolls can prevent that :) (mostly) depends what you do.

  • can u gimme tips im tryin ta learn hw ta back flip !

  • Theres just nowher for me to do anything near me - all there is is straight up powerpoles - no stairways no modern art- not jackshit so all i can do is do different types of vaults over the stair railing at my house. >:(

  • i have nike running shoes, they seem to have preety good grip..

  • i know that but like where outside, i watch all of these people vaulting over stuff in public where its perfect to practice? like in what park, etc

  • can you use skate shoes for parkour?

  • no the rubber on the bottem isnt soft enough

  • were is a good place to practice parkour in toronto ON???

  • I should have watched this about a year ago, good thing i stopped doing large jumps before i got really messed up

  • @LeonVanTa haha no its not...

  • no, "it is call" PARKOUR... why do you think every video on youtube calls it that?

  • hahahaa wow

  • when i wahs a beginner i jump out of my window wich is 14 feet and i really got hurt so dont jump that high when your a beginner

  • doesnt matter how good you are 14 feet is bloody high i think that would hurt anyone

  • v7ben is obviously right!

  • i dont think so. ive jumped from the top of 1 story buildings, w/o rolling & i didnt hurt. a buildings like 10-12 feet high but not fsar off from 14 feet

  • @zacharydm5 wait until you are 30.

  • karate is actually helpful for parkour as it strengthens your core so keep doing that but i wouldnt try anything bigger then that just start small and work your way up to bigger things, dont try doing big drops at an early stage in parkour i tried a 15 ft jump on to rock and hurt my heel pretty bad because i landed wrong. so just make sure your comfortable with the jump before you attempt it , it could ruin your whole summer like i did myn

  • I started yesterday and did a 9 ft jump and it didnt hurt cause I know how to roll from karate? Is that beyond my limits?

  • ya, its stupid, after a while you will really feel it. Dont do any unnescisary drops.

  • yes... conditioning for karate is different that conditioning for parkour

  • not in my opinion

  • when i do parkour i go all over the place whatever the obstacle i will do it and i just like to scale up buildings

  • i started out with precision and rolls then worked into vaults and got comfortable with alot of them just work on what yu feel comfortable with as yu get better yu can work on more difficult stuff such as combos and wall runs

  • @ptownparkour most definitely

  • to learn parkour u need to master roll and land and precision then u can learn other moves

  • i really want to start parkour but i dont know wutt to start with? wall running, vaults, jumps wut shud i start off doing for an average kid

  • i started wif vaults, then precisions, then kongs, then rolls, then 10-12 foot drops, then kongs, then underbars, then wall runs. now im working on wall spin & 360 corkscrews

  • @zacharydm5

10-12 foot drops? god, dont do that -_-

  • But I have been doing small, medium and big jumps, because I climb tree's, and i'll jump off from the last couple branches or the last branch which could be like 6ft off the ground and such.

  • Did a front flip with no momentum, hurt my spine lol.

  • That why I don't do flips. There just not worth the risk. :-) But have fun doing them if you can do them well!

  • i tried doing a flip yesterday.

landed on my wrist. learned my lesson!

  • wow ive been to portland but that looks awesome some weird giant art sculpture/mountain sweett

  • i got hurt doing jumps too big for me :(

  • My city doesn't have any of these buildings and car parks that have those railings and bars

  • Trust me look around and you will begin to see them. Eventually after you have walked around for a while, you will see objects that you can put into a run and flow over.

I thought the same as you about my hometown but you just have to look around and be aware of the obstacles in you environment.

    Hope this helps!

  • my town has some of the best setups for training. Theres an old WWII fort out here called Ft. Worder that is 30+ bunkers, railings , walls and towers. Theres small skate parks here and alot of small buildings too

  • CVAN HEAVY PEOPLE DO IT LIKE ABOUT 215

  • Of course you can. Start slowly, choose smallish obstacles to get over or under. Work on flexibility, endurance, and strength, always being aware of your body, with REGULARITY your watchword. It's gonna be a long while before your moves look anything like what you see on youtube, but who gives a toss? Good luck.

  • i am a great climber and a jumper i wanna be in the parkour

  • same reason i started =)

  • you are so lucky you are close to that walls !they are great for parkour training....

  • Hey Whats the best vault to learn when your a beginner?

  • lazy vault

  • i find that monkey vaults are quite easy, but i personally think it's what ever you feel comfortable with trying.

  • Ok thx ^^

  • a two-hand-vault. learn it to both sides.

  • parkour is everywhere

  • hey im 13 n i wanna start parkour but theresno spots where i live. i live in el paso texas. anybody tips? msg me

  • next bigger city....

  • try churches or stores or somethin... same prob with my town =/

  • Buy The Tribe tutorial DVD It helped me a lot. Parkour is about adapting yourself to your environment. Whether that be in the woods or in the urban environment. There are plenty of places you just have to look hard enough. How Bad Do You Want It...

  • if u RLLY look ull find sumtin. i thot they exact same thing in my homewtown, but wen i started gettin better wen i waz out-of-town i started seeing things i can do in my town

  • confidence is a problem for me, ill run towards a gap goin "yeh yeh im gonna do this" then when i get there ill just stop and go "noooo" and almost fall of.

    im a coward

  • Start smaller. when you get real confident with a low vault or drop, THEN move up. In your case, it's a mindset thin. do something you can do till it's nothing, then try something higher :D

  • cool, ty.

  • same lol. but then i have to force myself to do it. but now i think twice about doing that...because i made the "big jump" begginer mistake. :(

  • i slipped on a wall that i jumped onto and fractured my shin.

  • Running is also helpfull.

  • portland, oregon? wow im in the same city

  • ok, do u have to be a gymnist to do this or can anyone sort of pick it up?

  • if ya cant run...forget it..

  • you dont have to be a gymnist me and my friend arent nd we just kinda picked it up as we practiced but your legs really have to be in good shape ours are cause we play soccer and swim nd you also need to be able to have a good jump to o some of the things they show but what i do recomend is that you do take gymnastics it is a big help me and my friend did eventually so we could get better at it

  • well you dont need to be a gymnast (not for parkour you do for some level for free running) you just need to be fit and quite athletic.

  • ive been doing backflips off my 9ft fence and i just learned about parkour lastweek and how to do a bakflip a couple of days ago so you can get ready real quickly

  • k ive had a week of training i need expert help, am i ready to jump pff my 8ft roof?

  • lol

    bs

  • its called sarcasm..... yea

  • ha gay

  • where is this video at it looks pretty sick

  • its in portland oregon

  • do u think jumping off a 10 foot drop when ur first doing parkour is 2 much? im 126 pounds muscular and thin i was landing on woodchips not concrete.

  • Woodchips might be alright as they absorb a lot of your impact as opposed to your knees and joints. However, I would still spend more time conditioning than jumping from large drops.

  • make sure your wearing pants, and yes i guess thats fine. lol.

  • sjsawyer is right. dropping down 10 feet has no training effect. It's fun maybe, but doesn't help you progress.

  • sweet place to do parkour :D

  • i can relate to what this guy is saying. the first thing i ever tried when i started pk was trying to vualt my car....bout flew through my damn window :D

  • haha that sucks

  • i live in oregon

  • i did jumps way too hard for me before,

good thing i stopped before i really messed up

  • lol skating is absolute shite, so dont dis parkour when it is ten times better than skating

  • i used to skate it blows supper bad for your body

  • skating is where the money is at. parkour is where the peace of mind is.

  • and skating is for losers who do bad in school =D

  • You got that right

  • That sounds completely fcking stupid but skaters are all retarded.

  • Correct =] is it possible for retards to do good in school? I demand proof =p

  • I skate and do parkour. any questions?

  • did you die?

  • yes, in a horrible way.

  • In parkour, how did you get hurt as a beginner?

  • You are not ready to do the Kong Vault ! And you think it's easy !

  • I didn't ask you bro.

And who said I thought it was easy?

  • It was an example , man !

  • haha as a beginer i did a rail presision my toes slppped off and i landed bent around the bar haha, was bad times, god 2 long years ago haha

  • who care where ur from

  • oregon rocks

  • these ppl are cats.

  • 0:41 i saw i guy jump off something that was too high for him,

and he broke both his knees.

if you are just starting parkour,

    do something easy like trampoline.

    BECAREFUL EVERYBODY!

  • too late i tried to jump from building to building and busted my knee. that hurt like shit... thanks for the warning though

  • smart lol

  • i'm still feeling the pain! lol
