the more we listen to todays music, like will smiths daughter, the dumber musically we get. we listen to this, we just might keep our musical salvation.
certainly not the best bar none for giuliani i can think of plenty of better players. For one check out Giuliani's "Qual mesto gemito" from Rossini's Semiramide played by Izhar Elias an amazing player
@oscardelanada there are more than 2 people. it is a bit boring for example 0.45-0.50 he plays the melody like a metronome it needs subtle rubato to make it sound singing like opera. Then at 0.54 the accompaniment really overpowers the melody.
I have the Andres D. Marvi guitar from Aniello Desiderio. Which He use to perform and record. If you are interested in this instrument pleas contact me
@The3irik92 No, this is not a Marvi. This is a Yuichi Imai Model Special. Aniello, I think, had the Marvi guitar not before 2000. This video is coming from 1999.
I think he didn't spent so much time on practising. He was born as boy genious, he had his first koncert at age of 8, at that age we were learning how to play C note ; ) but of course he was practising too, I was on his concert 2 days , and I can tell you that he was not actualy playing , he was making magic on the stage, we could just sit and enjoy the entire evening =D
Es impresionante como en sus interpretaciones logra de forma prácticamente absoluta el efecto orquestal con una maestría y limpieza dantescas. Maravilloso!!!!.
Aniello is better - in our opinions - than Russell (I agree)...because he has an unpredictable fury about him when he plays. Russell is about as well rounded a guitarist I have ever seen (saw him at Eastman School of Music last year) and nearly flawless...but after someone like Desiderio (or Pepe Romero, who I saw within a couple weeks of the Russell concert)...he pales in comparison.
Really though, Desiderio is my favorite guitar player ever, just from these videos...! LOL
i think he's talkin to his guitar as he's playing

Love how his fingers are kinda pudgy when the ideal guitar finger are long and slender. But he's still plays better than I will probably ever be.

He is PERFECT. How can anyone play so flawlessly and smoothly? No doubt he is the best living guitarist. Yet he is not widely known. How come?

Seriously? Nice! I knew that Desiderio used Marvi guitars, but not that he use one in these video series. Beautiful sound!

Mquiezt 3 years ago
Well you bet aniello is on par... on my opinion aniello is better than russel, and barrueco... par with the best guitarist in all time julian bream
aniello is the best guitar player of him time
