If you have even remote knowledge of the junction system, this game is too damn easy. If you want a laugh, give Squall Diablos, and use Darkside. Absolutely ridiculous damage per hit. Add Drain to ST-Atk and you can practically kill your other two party members, tape down X, and still plough through most of the game.

FF8's music is a perfect blend of FF7 & FF9's. You can hear elements of both unique soundtracks in each score. It's interesting. But FF8 has the best soundtrack.

Guys, I don't want to say anything bad about this video... But when I was playing this game I had 9999 HP for each character and each my hit made 9999 damage and this amount was adding to the character who was making the hit. You just need to setup a magic properly ;). So, in my opinion this video shows pretty wrong way to play this game.

My Squall (Exi) is something 60lv. I forget to get Zell Card -> Hyper Wrist -> GF Ability Str+60%. So I am currently having 100 Tornado and Str +20% and Str +40%, BUT I normally use Mage Bonus and Str Bonus (+ Hp Bonus) with normal foes -.-

belive me mate it isnt a cheat i have the lion heart and im on disk 1 all you need to do is fight a level 20 t rexaur = dragon fangs. card mod minatours card = adamantoise. and mug laser cannons from elastoids in lagunas second dream and ammo refine them = pulse ammo.

If you wanna kill edea in few seconds you have to farm some items and draw spells from different mobs. When u have 100 Curagas etc. Wield em to add more dmg, health and other statics... Not hard ;)

He is using the PC version by Edios and daemon tools to emulate the PC disc.. He used a saved-game editor to give him the items he needs and the magazine itself

Its possible to get the lionheart without magazines or using cheats. 1st, you have to get 20 elnoyle cards, refine them into 2energy crystals which can then be refined into 20 pulse ammo. Next you can find the adamantoise on the beach next to dollet or refine minotaur card and you can get dragon fangs from grenzels or even t-rexaur.

Lionheart requirements:

1 adamantine

4 dragon fangs

12 pulse ammo

OK so you have the items for the lionheart recipie.. but you need the 1st issue of weapons mag monthly to get a junckshop owner to upgrade your weapon right? You cannot upgrade a weapon until you see it in a magazine.

Yeah, if you play a ton of TT, the card moding can get you rare items that you can refine to get better magic and able to upgrade your weapons.

I personally prefer it to the awful draw system.

Hehe, my Squalls HP was like 2500, junctioning Curaga's to his HP stat really helps.

(tip) and easy way to get to like lvl 56 or something if you want to is to start out in the game and kick theh ell out of the monstersi n the training center they have good xp and easy to kill!

in 8 level is different, because enemy levels depend on your level so by leveling up your effectively making the game harder for not alot of stat improvements which is why you have to junction well, but at high levels enemies carry better magic to draw, your level isnt bad by any means, but would make sure you learn the up abilities like strength up or magic up etc, maybe junction life or cure to your hp, learn about the islands too for later in the game,
