tc7510 owner here. Im about to pick up a 7520 dac and am really looking forward to it. also picked up a set of LM4562NA op amps for rolling. Was using my dv 336i headphone amp as a pre amp for the quad 909 power amp but for some reason the 336i causes the 909 to over heat. Its like a radiatior lol. The op rolled 7520 should cure my ills. Watching tv without valve hum will be an added bonus. The senny hd650's are devoid of hum with the valve setup but noisy via the power amp. annoying.
Hey, sorry for the late reply (been on holiday). Thanks for the kind words about the setup :-)
The Beresford is a really good bit of kit. Sure it's not the best DAC on the planet but for just over £100 you get a lot for your money. It can handle 4 sources, has a built in headphone amp and even has variable output for connection direct to a power amp!
In combination with the Squeezebox, it gives a sound that is the equal of most £1k CD players in my opinion.
If you mean can you use itunes as a 'front-end' to control the squeezebox then, I don't think you can. You have to use their own software called SqueezeCenter.
AppleTV is definitely a more versatile solution and if you have a TV near your stereo I would go for that.
I don't have a TV in the same room as my stereo, so the Squeezebox was a neater solution.
cool, what is the of the title & artist?

You stream music wirelessly from your computer to the Squeezebox. The Squeezebox then connects directly to your stereo
