Mcsquinty was always crying and blaming his woes on the 5 billion deficit left by Harris.. But never stops to think, the Harris inherited a 10 billion dollar deficit from the previous NDP and Liberal governments. He reduced that deficit to 5 billion, and still cut taxes. Some of his methods were not the best, but we were a hell of a lot better off than we're going to be with the deficit this tax and spend Lieberal is going to leave us, or rather our grandchildren with.

Well McGuinty released a dog of a budget. No corporate tax cuts to attract and keep business investment. Toronto Stock Exchange has been a dog this year, I personally have lost $10,000's. We have horrible GDP growth. I can't you morons re-elected this num nuts.

McGuinty has taken Ontario from #1 economically to number 10. He has increased the deficit by $12 Billion. He has implemented the largest single tax increase in Ontario history. 170,000 manufacturing jobs were lost on his watch. He hasn't closed all coal plants as promised. He broke 50 promises.

-Class sizes are down, test scores are up

-Two straight balanced budgets, after cleaning up the $5.6B deficit the tories hid from Ontarians

-Reduces wait times for hip, knee and eye surgeries

Whether you can admit it or not, people like the direction Ontario is going in under McGuinty. 4 more years. The electorate is never wrong.

Harris balanced the budget every year he was in office. McGuinty hasn't despite a strong economy. Ontario has under performed every other province economically in the past 4 years. McGuinty didn't keep his promise on class room sizes. He has paid for services but running a deficit.

- "No, I won't raise taxes, honest", followed by a huge tax increase;

- his idea that government should steal property from Ontarians in order to stop other criminals from stealing it first;

- his do-nothing approach to Caledonia. If any OTHER group did what the natives are doing, they'd be in jail right now.

Looking at the plans, It seems that John has inflated revenue estimates over the next four years and I don't want to see another deficit. I'm sorry you don't feel the McGuinty government has been accountable over these past few years. However, it's not up to me to define that for you. I believe Premier McGuinty has done a great job of that. He has demonstrated a great sense of fiscal responsibility, especially with the deficit. Hey, I'm not saying that the Harrisites (please, let's not call them "Tories") weren't evil, don't get me wrong. But one of the worst things they ever did was create the 2001 Municipal Act. It gave municipalities "natural person" status along with stupidying power. McGuinty et al introduced then passed Bill 130 which gave municipalities even more. And zero accountability mechanisms in place.

Do you remember what the Harris/Eves Conservatives did to our province? Children were constantly locked out by teacher strikes. Our education system as a whole was in shambles. Some 8000 nurses were fired and hospitals were closing across Ontario. Now, Dalton McGuinty is hiring back those 8000 nurses. Wait times for common surgical procedures are being measured and lowered. There has not been one lost day of school. Test scores are up and graduation rates have skyrocketed. He is a true leader.

And he won't allow the Ontario Ombudsman to investigate the MUSH sector (Municipalities, Universities, Schools, Hospitals)

Why the proof is in the puddin', of course. The results are easy to see when 500,000 more Ontarians have access to a family physician. Or when 1.3 million children receive better health care through the Ontario Child Benefit. Or when class sizes are brought down, allowing for more individual attention for each student. When hospitals are opening, instead of closing. And when all of this and much more is done while eliminating a $5.5 billion deficit left by the Tories.

Dalton McGuinty gave us Bill 130 this December. It allows municipalities to appoint their own "investigators" to --ready?-- investigate themselves.

Worry that your municipality is corrupt? Never fear, McGuinty made sure you'd get an investigator to investigate them. An investigator your municipality got to appoint.
