  • amazing, I've just discovered this and I'm in love

  • It's pretty good, but a song it is not.

  • @ignoranttwat maybe it's an amazing anti-song?

  • @ignoranttwat what do you mean by "not a song"? i'm curious.

  • @environmentsforears

A song is by definition a piece of music for the voice. There is no voice in this, so it's not a song.

  • @ignoranttwat Definitions tend to change very often.

  • @untitledesigner

Yes of course, language is fluid, but musical terminology is not so much.

  • @ignoranttwat so most part of the jazz musicians never made a song. but 50 cent did. cool theory.

  • @environmentsforears

Well, by "voice" I really mean "singing".

  • @ignoranttwat You might be right as far as it concerns the historical concept of "song".

Well, let's just call it a track.

And it is damn good track.

  • @Regentzable

    Track!

  • @ignoranttwat sosinging

  • @Kennynynyny

    Pardon?

  • @RadioAphextWINedHead I simply this LOVE monotonous shit, man! ;)

  • this is heartbreaking

  • NICE!

  • this is incredible. i totally see the tim hecker comparison but this seems less ambient. there's almost a narrative to it. what a beautiful track. thanks ben

  • reminds me of Tim Hecker. Still good though :)

  • I feel mechanic..this is epic..!

  • If you were to ask me to list my top 10 favourite songs I wouldn't be able to, there are just too many songs that I absolutely love I couldn't possibly rank them. However, this is without a doubt my favourite song of all time. The harshness, the raw power, but also the delicacy and beauty. Really I think this song describes life, seemingly cold and austere but filled with subtle beauty that draws you to it. It's a very humbling feeling listening to this, truly a modern masterpiece.

  • This is the kind of stuff that actually makes you stop and think. I like it

  • This is mixed quite remarkably.. It really seems like the distorted parts and the clean parts are played simultaneously on separate speakers...

  • What an awesome build up. Intense, bone crushing, deep, beauty.

For more inspiration, intense build up and ending:

The Inituition - Open Your Frozen Heart And Start Living Again

  • i saw him live in ny. it was an awesome performance. you could feel the music reverberate through your bones. i would love to see him again.

  • Life Changing

  • this song takes some maturity to enjoy so it's not for everyone. that being said, i really love it. at 1st that dark bassy timbre comes in and then everything becomes so melodic. the glitched out piano sound is really unique. this is really a great piece of modern music and builds a great soundscape.

  • I'm tripping as hell on this music. I've been looking for masterpieces like this for quite some time now, NIN does have similar parts on some songs that just blows me away completely. It feels weird listening to this it seems to resonate perfect with my brain as I really do feel it blown away, It's a bit like being on some drug.

  • @Korvmannen Do you know of God is an astronaut? That's real deep music too. You might want to check out Fennesz too (preferably 'cendres', a collaboration with Sakamoto). Slow build up, harmonious and fragile music.

  • I saw this on a Chunky Move video <3

  • EPIC

  • I see humanity moving in aimlessy frenzy through time listening to this song,

but when i think that is a man creating this , i must be wrong...

  • @marxisonfire Surprise ;)

  • @marxisonfire Ben Frost is too good for TV

  • HE WAS SO BADASS LAST NIGHT AT BIMHUIS IN AMSTERDAM!

  • @AkamuSlayer The joke is on you my friend ;-)

  • @AkamuSlayer Watch your use of language or at least use it in advance of art, for example: "WOW THIS IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE!" You must be crazy not to love the catharsis and brute power this track has. I take it you've got bad speakers ;)

  • @steshystesh i think that this is real underground ultra quality music , so intense that cannot be appreciated by the masses ... so i'm glad to know that lot of people cannot understand totally what's the real value of this song ..

  • @AkamuSlayer fuck you, and go to hell you ugly son of a bitch. go listen to lady gaga and other idiots, you retarded piece of shit.

  • I find this song intellectual.

  • i feel like a falcon on endless storm going into debts of undiscovered mind delusion confusion unsettled drowning rock in green ocean full of repeating fishes and swallow the oldest monument while trees are walking down the up and downing road i see when closed purple way crystal eyes and rise when dead like father of music.......................................................................

  • The world is no longer the same after you listen to this. Well played sir.

  • Music for Kafkas iPod.

  • When this song starts to swell I'm the happiest person in the world. Fantastic.

  • only smart people listen to Ben Frost :)

  • Goosebumps!

  • Wow, what a beautiful track! Sharp effort by Ben Frost.

  • I think you can use this like a HUGE HUGE MASSIV Breack Down ... OMG and after that a massiv track omg
