@1980redkremlin lol yeah the mustang is a little boxy...it sucks that Ford didn't let them modify the front end to make it more aerodynamic like they did in the original show...but you know I was just glad we had a Knight Rider on :) they shouldn't have jumped the shark with making KITT able to transform into a truck. The nanotech skin was a good idea, but nanomachines can't create matter!!! truck has more mass so kitt shouldn't be able to transform into one.

You know the new show wasn't too bad was it? it had a bit of spirit of the old show, didn't take itself too seriously, I agree about the nanotech thing though. I dont know how the series went down in the states but it was pretty much buried on satellite TV in UK and ireland where I live. Shame really

der GT 500 KR ist zwar nicht billig, aber allein die restaurationskosten bei nem gebrauchten Trans Am stell ich mir nicht billig vor.

If we can put old Kitt's voice into the new car that would be awesome. The old Kitt had much more personality, and putting that into a absolute gorgeous car like the new mustang would have made the show even better.

It would be great if they could briefly resurrect the knight 2000 for a one off episode in the present knight rider series. I think whatever story line they decide on would be great as long as the ending is not too cheesy......obviously they would have to de-comission or destroy the 2000 to maintain the shows continuity.......

@capokhatpin The original KiTT 2000 was destroyed in the movie knight Rider 2000 and replace by a Red Saturn prototype. Saturn make was due to released 3 years after this film aired. Devon Miles also gets killed on this film. The only way that i think they can connect the story is to bring back Bonnie KiTT 2000 mechanic(today she is 58 years old) The new Knight industries team can just say that they find an unknown device and the only one that can dicifer it is bonnie.
