the text above says to cook your noodles first and to put them aside for later, but when he put them in the pan at the end, they looked hard and uncooked. which is it?
correct me if i'm wrong , but isn't all salt the same size ? they are chemically combined and have a definite shape and size so how can couture salt be thicker ?
@DDXiia0BoyZ yes all edible salt is the "same" chemically, it's all sodium chloride. What he's saying is that the granules of Kosher salt are larger than what you'd find in, say, the table salt most people normally use on a day to day basis, dammit.
@Darthbelal No, real salt (sea salt, Himalayan salt etc.)has 84 trace elements and iron, the standard poison everyone buys has only two sodium and chloride... not to mention the flavour difference.
This was a great fast fix for a Sunday night meal. I tried the carb free approach, replacing the pasta with broccoli instead. If you try this approach, I would refrain from using the chicken stock and just throw the broccoli in, cover and simmer. Thanks so much!
I didn't have chicken thighs. I substituted pre-sliced chicken breast from Jewel. I used Monterey mushrooms from Watsonville California, my favorite state. And I didn't have the egg noodles so I substituted Lipton Creamy Garlic Shells. The shells come in a bag pre-mixed. I cooked the batch and then added the Garlic Shells as in the video.
I had a bottle of Chateau Ste Michelle 1982, popped the cork and finished the dish.
What??....No Lemon juice?...No Capers?....no butter at the end???? It's just an OK recipe... but needs more flavor...

Great job in this video. Nice energy, and you are describing the food very well. This looks like a studio kitchen, where can I watch this show?

Good and quick. 10-12min for breast.
