too bad the nokia n8 is a slow pile of shit. its honestly a camera with a phone attached. seems to fail at loading anything of mine without an delay that in todays world is not up to technology standards. if my n8 wasn't on a contract for another 12 months i would of changed phone by now. nokia needs to to double its processor speed, quadruple its ram for starters. and after that well maybe then i might buy another nokia.

Are the drivers for this stuff built in? I have my Nokia N8 and not alot of info is available yet, I would like to know if a USB keyboard and mouse can be used also. Can a USB hub be used to plug in both? Is composite video available? I tried the N95 cable and it did not work, Nokia themselves also said only HDMI!

Google searches bring up not alot for the N8 owner more for the buyer and reviews! I will have to give some of these things a try for myself and see what happens :)

@kenosando yes thats right. the stand of the SU-8W isnt really suitable for the N8, so it was just standing there, but not fixed. i dont believe theres a way to bring up the multitask menu software wise, my buddy had to press the button there

Amazing, if u don't play games, imho u can replace a laptop with this. At home, like GDaemon said, just plug it to a TV and add a keyboard, a mouse and a USB drive. Yet if it supports MS Office programs like Word and PowerPoint, I don't really see a need for a laptop anymore then.

@HoMeGrOwN totally depends on what you want. i have the N900 and really love the open-ness and what you can do with it with all the nice little apps. you can mod the hell out of it and the OS feels fresh.

if you are a hobby photograph like me, the N8 is yours. the camera is simply amazing and symbian also has improved a lot.

iphone4 looks nice, i really dig the design, however i've never been a fan of the OS. it feels so limited compared to others.

Hey everyone, this is a fun video, but really isn't big news...if you fully support the Bluetooth Human Interface Device (HID) profile, you have mouse and joystick support in addition to keyboard support. Hooking the phone to a TV and coupling it with 2 BT devices, connect the N8 to the charger may not take forever but still too long to do it just for watching a movie. For internet it may be ok but if I want to look 1 thing up I won't fuzz around with all this, for longer sessions I'd rather use a PC or laptop anyway.
