Nowadays you can't make cartoons like this because of (A) political correctness and (B) the experts claim that all that (cartoonish!) violence will make kids violent. Damn, does that mean that ALL 80's kids like myself who watched G.I. JOE, Transformers, C.O.P.S. and M.A.S.K. are ticking time bombs of violence? All that aside I feel that I must say in terms of the aforementioned cartoons...the 80's RULED!!!!!

I love how at 2:40 duke grabs the bomb with only 7 seconds to spar flies up and takes 3 more seconds then what he had left and some how it doesn't blow up until he lieave!? Does Duke have the sands of time in his pocket or does he have the power to divide by zero thus making the timer on the bomb to slow down off camera. Why does Cobra come down with fireworks and confftie? guess they like wild partys with their terror

The real reason we have a global shortage of fuel: the US Gov't and GI JOE heavy use of Jet pack fuel and rocket fuel use of the 80s.

I would love to know how Cobra remained in business after the 5th episode. Every episode it would lose a base that would cost the Americans BILLIONS of dollars(back in the 80s). Yet, some how, Cobra had another base up and running the next day! We need to hire these Cobra base construction companies!
