I have no sympathy for Kelsey's birth-mother. She sees herself as a victim. She was responsible for the care of her daughter, yet when confronted with clear evidence of abuse she looked the other way. In interviews she cries for herself. Kelsey was taken out of the home and placed with her paternal grandmother, Kelsey still went to her mother's house every day, and under her mother and stepfather's care, both of her legs were broken. The child was put back with the gradnmother, them OKDSS put her back with her mother and stepfather. WTF!!!!!
3 different agencies did not see ANY abuse in Kelseys moms home...AND Michael Porters OWN daughter told authorities AFTER Kelsey died that when Raye left her daddy would hit Kelsey but she wasn't allowed to tell -- so if it as kept from Raye, how could she have known? I have no sympathy for Kelsey's birth-mother. She sees herself as a victim. She was responsible for the care of her daughter, yet when confronted with clear evidence of abuse she looked the other way. In interviews she cries for herself. Rather than be alone with her daughter to protect her, she was one of those weak sorts who NEED a man. She sucks her daughter's murderer's dick and as long he he stays, she looks the other way. He may not have been perfect, but he would do anything for Kelsey's well being. And yes, I can read and research. This case touched me. There is a lot of speculation in this case however there are also facts-the facts are the only 2 people there at the time of Kelsey's death where Raye Dawn and Micheal Porter, so why are you bashing innocent people? Kelsey was taken out of the home and placed with her paternal grandmother, Kelsey still went to her mother's house every day, and under her mother and stepfather's care, both of her legs were broken. I'm confused. I may have heard about this case; however, I really don't remember. I do have a question, though, and I hope you can answer it. Who is Blaine? In your comment, you say "him", but I was thinking it was Porter's daughter from a previous relationship.
Is this child theirs, together? Did she get pregnant before Kelsey was murdered?Am I on the right track? Very curious, so I hope you'll reply. Thank you in advance, if you do.

I dont know what to believe when i first saw this story on utube I saw it from the Briggs view...my first thought was whoever did all this documentation(kathie I assume) witnessed this happening and should of taken that baby and ran away if she thought the mother or step dad did this. If this ws my grandbaby I would have run away with her before I aloud one more incident I think this grandmother failed the little girl..Photos show Kelsey ws crazy about her mom. Kathie sounds suspious.

She deserves to rot in jail. Kathie Briggs did not put her in jail. Raye did not protect her daughter. All she was interested in was keeping her "man". All that seems to come out of Rayes mouth is "what about ME ME ME" What about Kelsey? Of course, why would she think of Kelsey now when she didn't think of her when she was alive.

We really don't have any right to judge, My heart hurts for little Kelsey. You have your right to feel the way that you do. and I have mine. I feel Raye Dawns Heart greaves every day over the loss of her precious daughter. come on point the finger where it needs to be pointed and that his to the one that murdered her the step Dad. Kelseys Family on her Dads side and Raye Dawns should just stop the family fight and focus on what matters most and that is justice, and that the step Dad pays for it.

Yeah it sucks that she's in prison when she didn't "touch" Kelsey, but come ON, who else broke her legs? Who else gave her bruises? A random hit man? God is awesome, but YOU must take the INITIATIVE to make things RIGHT. That includes ditching assholes who beat your baby to death and that makes you a tool in the murder of a baby. Stupid. Just stupid. Get some brains and look a reality. I hope she gets out but gets real.

I think the little girl's mom deserved far more than she got. She had ONE job....to love and protect that little girl....SHE failed!!! Rotting in hell is not good enough for that woman. I know no one in this and could tell just from the photos this child was abused...look at her eyes...how does a mom not notice that?! It is called she was too wrapped up in herself!
