I love the art style in this game along with everything else but I really don't see why people hate the anime style so much. That art style is what got me to pick up Dawn of Sorrow since I'm into anime so i have to admit that if the anime style wasn't around then I probally would have never played Castlevania ever which would be a dreadful thought since all the games in the series are incredible. Shanoa needs another game besides Harmony of Despair thumb up if you agree.

@thedragoonknight Style? Yes, but if we're comparing opening animations, I found the PoR animation to be more dynamic with more 'life' in the movements portrated, though simplified art-wise which would make it comparingly less of a story involving the everlasting war against Dracula.

What makes a vampire is Fangs, weakness to light, super powers and most importantly the other clieches of what a vampire has! The male vampire in Faglight is only there to gain appeal. But the good thing about us boys is that the producers (with the exception of Stephine Meyer) are only in it for the pay check!

I disagree. I think this game surpassed SOTN. =/ SOTN is awesome and I've played it multiple times but.....it's just way too easy.....I mean Death only had like 888 hp and after you reach a certain level, you can just bulldoze right through bosses.. OoE brought back the difficulty that the classic Castlevania games had and its a more refined version of the SOTN formula.

OoE was my first, and in my opinion the BEST work of art for a Castlevania game - deep and emotional story, glyph system, and classic Castlevania gameplay unlike the anime bullshit in DoS and PoR.

I really love this series. The intro music is great. Shanoa looks like a doll, so... beautiful. She looks like a strong woman while being beautiful and sexy. And, Konami ditched the anime-style, that's good, I just don't like anime style for Castlevania. When I saw anime in Dawn of Sorrow, it's like crap.

And, the game itself is Excellent. Another cool thing is that you can switch back to nes castlevania bgms in-game. :>

What they need in a Castlevania game is the ability to deck out the character, or the ability to make your own. I love the games, especially AoS and DoS, The changeable wapons are badass, But, It would be nice to Equip Different armors and See that The character Has A new look. Dracula X Chronicles actually pretty good. Great remixes of great songs, a better Dracula battle. But i would of loved it if it was on PS2 or something, just make it look way better. As for another CV1 remake, it would be better if it was CV3, we already have CV Chronicles and since Curse of Darkness is basiclly the sequal.
