  • the doc can give baby antacids cant he? my sister in laws baby would scream bloody murder until she was given the antacids, it was a liquid fed thru the bottle.

  • My baby is the same. Brings tears to my eyes to watch

  • and on that same day he fell asleep in my arms..and afterwards he started to cry again..but and i found out by smoothing his tummy and picking his legs up was he able to release all that bad stuff he had and he never cried again..well untill he was hungry..and now He's 4 and he remembers me and always wants me to hug him:) I love him and I cant wait till I have a kid of my own:)

  • I wish i was there i'd know how to get rid of that nasty colic..i remember when I had my first experiance with my little cousin He had very bad colic..my cousin couldnt stand the cry so she let my little cousin stay with us..and so one day while my mum went to the store..i stayed to watch the baby..and he was crying like theres no tomorrow..i felt so bad..so what i did was I sang to the baby and tho he was cry..He looks at me with his little eyes and smile..i never forget that day..

  • i must have a strong motherly instinct, because the cries in this video dont make me want to drive a stake through my eardrums, but make me want to pick her up and shhhhhh... it'll be ok... Poor thing, you can tell she's in a lot of pain

  • @MyScorpion42 no its 1:50... omfg!!

  • standing up with them like she did at the end it the only thing that worked for my baby also.

  • don't give any medicine, pay attention to your food. Eat apples and drink pure water! Make massage for her tummy. This may last till 3 or 6 month. Don't be upset to yourself for it. It is very normal. There are a lot of ways to solve problems, again, don't use medicines or tea to girl. Milk for her is totally enough. All what she takes care, is your food. Whatever you eat - gives effect to her. Good luck!

  • my daughter did this for 3 days straight at 3 weeks old. all we needed was to change her formula :)

  • did she fall asleep at the end or was she calmed? it looked like she wiped herself out

  • chalk one up for mom...bless your heart!

  • Wow... sounds just like our 7 week old. I'm so glad we're not alone in this struggle, our baby does this day and night; my wife and I are exhausted but still cling to the hope that this will eventually stop.... someday.

  • @noelnthaly colic will stop. My daughter had it for what seemed like 2 or 3 months, she would start & stop crying like clockwork - no kidding, you could set a watch by her cries! And then one day, she just stopped crying & all at once, it was over... and she seemed no worse for wear (though I certainly was, lol) Whew! Hang in there, it will stop & you'll get to enjoy your baby at last.

  • chiropractic

  • poor baby girl, thank god you are so patient. still hard to believe as medically advanced as we are there is still no good explanation for this.

  • i am a mother of 3 for 19 years and i have seen lots of colic videos and i have never seen a baby this colicky in my life? That baby is lucky she had great patient parents like you two. Bless you!

  • @tonyamanderino I have 4 kids, only one ever had colic, 23 yrs ago.. and she was every bit as bad or worse at crying than this baby, non-stop all day & night no matter what you do, they don't stop but maybe for a second or two & then it's right back to screaming crying for hours on end, day after day, for weeks & months. colic is a HORRIBLE thing to experience - you never forget it. God Bless anybody who has to deal with it, it's HARD & takes tremendous patience!

  • @matthewsbrrful

Ive never experienced colic. Im glad from what ive seen that i havnt either. Yeah it does take tremendous patience and i know that i have that patience and motherly instinct to deal with those kind of experiences. Its just great that these babies have great parents to take care of them. Thanks for the response. Bless you. :)

  • My brother was like that when he was little and I seemed to be the only one who could wind him and calm him when he got like that so at 14 I was getting up to sort him out as my mum couldn't but hey I love him and to be honest seeing a baby cry like that breaks your heart! x

  • They say bouncing a baby and patting it's back is one of the worst things you can do for colic as it just causes the trapped wind to move further around the baby's body thus causing more pain. Your supposed to hold the baby over your shoulder with it's arms over your shoulder and it breast bone against your shoulder blade and rub the baby's back in a downward manner. Colic massage helps, special baby colic bottles and sleeping on a wedge also works

  • When she back-sasses you as a teenager, show her this video

  • very sweet baby and careful mother

  • I used to have colic when I was a baby. It lasted for like 30 days, then I threw up and I just stopped crying all of a sudden lol

  • Cracked forums.

  • Poor baby. I am now praying for all you lost sickos who post horrible comments about a human being! I'm glad this precious baby has patient loving parents!

  • sure it wasn't reflux? just wondering as she looks more relaxed when holding her upright

  • maybe he's just a bad baby

  • What is colic?

  • @333pinkitty WHAT THE FUCK? give it up for adoption? i hope you never have fucking kids, you arrogant asshole.

  • You are such a great mom, loving and caring mom. Your baby is beautiful too.God bless your family.

  • My baby was like her too when he was a baby. We just need time

  • did u breast feed or bottle feed? Breastfed babies are less likely to experience colic i've heard. Maybe that was one of the problems

  • btw if you look in the reactionthing there is one sick sonofabitch who thinks this is funny

  • @itscauseimwhite233

lol haha 2 now this is funneeeh xDDDDD

  • anyone else hee come from cracked.com to watch this

  • going through this right now. 24/7 screaming baby boy! we've tried everything from swaddling, to gripe water. the only thing that truely helps him (temporarily) is going for a car ride. although that doesn't help ME get any sleep lol. he's only 4 weeks old so im looking forward to many more weeks of this i fear! i even cried along with him last night! :[

  • whenever my son got like this we'd put him in his carseat, put it on top of the dryer & turn the dryer on....instant sleep.

  • Poor little darling :( </3

  • she was tired.

  • makes me want to cry...gas pains are painful and i'm sure colic is more painful than just plain ol gas pains...and their tummies are just so sensitive and new...m daughter is going through this at the moment and is just turning a month old. =(

  • I'm so glad my nephew was such a happy baby. That has to suck for all involved.

  • Poor thing...

  • I can imagine the pain they feel poor babies

  • I feel for you :( went through 15 months of this...so so difficult!!! <3

  • If you pick the baby up & they stop then it's not colic....colic would be crying regardless of being held or anything else. At this point if it's been going on for over an hour or two that's when it's time to rub a little bit of alcohol on their gums & let them relax a little, sounds bad but it's really not & works wonders, doesn't put them to sleep just relaxes them, not a PC thing to do in today's world but it's been done by many mothers yrs ago & never hurts the baby.

  • Cute!

  • Get some bose headphones or something

  • @00000000000000000810 What is wrong with you? And what drugs you take? :-(

  • I've never hear a baby whil like that before! My 17 year old sister had colic, at that age, and we did everything to try to soothe her, but nothing worked. Now she's in high school and is the 11th grade. Almost a seinor in high school! How did the mother finally soothe her poor, cute little baby? What a little sweetie!

  • ur such a good mommy! so patient!!!

  • Check out the book and video "Happiest Baby On The Block" - its colic cure is amazing, and it works!!!!!! It saved my sanity with my colicky son. You can usually find it at your local library. I would suggest watching the video first so you know how to do everything correctly.

  • @Tiki5525 LIAR! My daughter was colicky and nearly cried non-stop for the first 6 months of her life (mostly due to gas pains & reflux). I tried every technique in the book and NONE of them worked. In fact, my daughter loathed the swing and would not tolerate being swaddled. I know a lot of other moms with severly colicky babies who found the book just as useless. The Fussy Baby book is a hell of a lot better than Happiest Baby on the Block.

  • My daughter cried like this every waking moment for 15 weeks, day and night. And no, people who scoff, there wasn't a damn thing that helped it. She just had to get older. Colic is horrible. I couldn't leave the house with her for almost 4 months, except to go to the doctor because she did this in the car and while we were out, the WHOLE time. Bless parents of colicky babies.

  • wind shield washer in the formula. problem solved.

  • It has been proven that the sound of a screaming baby..and this one hacks like a broken petrol engine between bawls..is the worst sound ever. People will do almost anything to get away from it. It is a design flaw in human babies.but this hacka-hacka-hacka-WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHH hacka-hacka-hacka WAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH is unendurable!

  • @Oakleaf700

    :)

  • Thank God for kind, loving mothers.

  • Poor colicy sweet-heart!

  • I actually like the part when the baby hisses like a cat.

  • The 55 dislikes are completely understandable.

  • Cracked.com.

  • Its either trying to take a huge shit, having trouble breathing, or just plain possessed.

  • People wonder what's wrong with me when I let them know I have tocophobia.

  • Some people are really disturbing. Kill it? Dear god, never have children if their cries make you want to kill it.

  • don't have babies, kids.

  • I know there's nothing you can do to help a colic baby (well remove it completely) but to just leave her shit there on your legs to cry was the most heart breaking thing to watch :( PICK HER UP!!!

  • Thanks for keeping it real and not just showing your baby when she's being all adorable.

  • What's colic?

  • @KainDrake cancer

  • The next time someone asks me why I'd ever get an abortion/permanent birth control/no sex ever, I'll show them this video.

  • You people saying "kill it" and to hit the baby with a brick are fucking sick. fuck you. she is a PERSON. someone's daughter, maybe someone's sister, maybe a future mother. fuck. you. fuck.

  • @AmberLeAnnBrown This is the internet. Far worse has been suggested.

  • @Catty872 This is the internet? Thanks for the clarification. And far worse occuring doesn't make it okay.

  • @AmberLeAnnBrown It's just trollin' sweetheart. It's lame trolling, because good trolling is an art form, but still trolling nonetheless.

  • @TheColorEarth I'm not gonna let you fuck with me, kay? kay.

  • @TheColorEarth Legend has it, written of old, that your browser window contains within its vast realms the amazing secret to permanently silencing this child's cries. I don't know if it's true or not, but the old-timer in the local tavern claims that the secret might lie in the eldritch red square marked only with an X. Stronger men have died in the attempt to plunder its wisdom; seek it only if you dare. Bring along a rogue, it might be treasure.

  • @AmberLeAnnBrown it's not a person, it's a disgusting parasite who should be euthanized, and it's also ugly

  • i survived 14 seconds

  • All I got from this video is two parents saying "look how bad we have it because our baby won't stop crying". Damaging, life altering and heartbreaking??? Hardly. Annoying, yes. I've got an 8 week old daughter who gets this way a lot, and aside from making sure she's fed, burped and has clean diapers, you just have to deal with it. It's called the reality of having children.

  • @Spook50 Most parents are actually sympathetic to their kids' needs. They are dealing with it... Pretty well, actually. They're both remaining calm.

  • He kinda really liked it when you bounced him.... and didn't like being put on your lap. Hmm...

  • @loanesay But you can't bounce him forever

  • Kill it...I say kill it now, but when I have my own kids, mommy mode and instincts will make me want to comfort it and not kill it....hopefully. I hope it's enough to make me stay out of my normal kill mode during period time. -.-

  • MAKE IT FUCKING STOP

  • I'd hit it... With a fucking brick

  • What a cry baby. Oh and Cracked.com brought me here.

  • What the fuck is wrong with me? I can't stop laughing!

  • I would invest in earplugs.

  • KILL IT. KILL IT WITH FIRE.

  • Oh mama. You are amazing and wonderful. This will pass!

  • why?

  • Someone tell that baby to shut the fuck up.

  • KILL IT WITH FIRE!

  • must be so hard to put it in a different room

  • Wait wait, it's a damaging, life altering, heart breaking experience that your baby is crying for no reason? God, I though colic was some sort of heart disease or something. Get over yourself.

    Also, thanks Wikipedia.

  • Is it wrong of me to be laughing at this?

  • Wow your hands are kind of manly.

  • I feel bad that I'm not affected by a baby's crying. It just doesn't bother me =/

  • ive watched like 2 minutes and i want to punch this baby in its goddamn face so bad...

  • @daaaaaawg

    lmao

  • Aww, no!

  • Poor poor baby. She must be like "It HUUURTS! Why does it huuuuuuuuuuurt?"

  • If this is because you didn't breast-feed her, this is your own damn fault.

  • @ihatefurrys No, she has colic...

  • @ihatefurrys I breastfed my daughter, and she still had colic. Colic isn't caused by something the parent does. So don't blame this poor woman.

  • @Edespogacsa It's statistically proven that breast-fed children are less likely to have colic. If yours had it anyway, I feel sorry for you.

    : (

  • why the hell would you upload this?

  • It sounds like Golem.

    Suggestion: Kill with fire.

  • Made it... just barely... 20. Why cry... suggests...boredom. "Gag"

  • Is it bad that I found the crying baby sorta cute?

  • Oh shit. I feel your pain bro.

  • This is why ill never have children

  • Comment removed

  • Ouch. It's rough for everyone when a baby has colic. I hope it's going a bit easier for you and the baby.

  • My daughter had colic, too, and it was horrible, absolutely horrible. You watch other people falling in love with their babies and all you can do is make it through another day. Your description is exactly correct: life-altering, heart-breaking - it's just SO BAD. (And then, people who haven't been through it, don't get it - they think you've got a fussy baby you should be comforting, that you're overreacting or doing something wrong..and that's why I'm happy that you posted this video...)

  • @Edespogacsa Yes, it was brave to post. My son had it and it almost ruined our marriage. It lasted for many months non-stop. We tried everything. It was so hard when people would belittle it. This is really a big deal for a couple and it is very courageous of them. It does get better eventually -- they go to school! ;-) Take time for yourself and your marriage as soon as you can to recover from the trauma. For the next, I put him on a gentle routine from day1 and I swear that made him easier.

  • I watched the whole thing. At least the mommy was there for the baby, touching it and hugging it and letting it know it's gonna be okay.

  • @StrawberryBoy100

Makes ya wonder what she did when the cameras stopped rolling...HA!

  • I'm just wondering how someone, especially a mother, can just sit there and watch her baby cry without doing something - no matter if it has colic or not.

  • @canceroustears well what are you going to do? The baby has been crying for a half hour already, and there isn't really anything you can do to comfort it. The parents need a break as well, and since the child has no other needs, all you can do is let it cry and hope that things get better.

  • @canceroustears There's is nothing you can do. It's not about watching without doing something - that's what people who haven't been through this don't understand. There. Is. Nothing. That. Can. Be. Done. By either you or your pediatrician. It's non-life-threatening and goes away after 3-4 months, so there are no treatments for it. You just have to live through it.

  • Why the hell would you record this and post it online? Who are you doing this for exactly--the people who don't know the 'raw reality of colic"? Take your child OFF THE INTERNET.

  • @michiru6370 This can be used for educational purposes, either by giving a childless adult what it's like to have a child with colic, or to show new parents what they should probably expect. It'll most likely do more good than harm, so why not? If you have a problem with it, then there isn't really anything either of us can do.

  • @nightmarexbat I'd be okay with that if it were presented like an educational video. There's nothing in the video that explains exactly what colic is and how it should be handled. Some people need a wake up call when it comes to the reality of having kids, I get that. But this is just a video of two parents recording their crying infant. And yes, I know that there is nothing that can be done, but these people opened themselves up for criticism when they decided to post their video online.

  • Poor lil baby. Can't do anything but cry when it isn't feeling well.

  • toss that in the microwave

  • is...is it hissing?

  • I wonder if she cried herself to sleep from being exhausted from so much crying?

  • @bjnboy Usually babies with colic can't sleep. They just cry and scream for hours on end. They don't sleep and the parents don't sleep, either. I think I slept three hours a night, on good nights, for four straight months.

  • I couldn't do it. I JUST COULDN'T DO IT!!!

  • Aww, poor baby! I just wanted to hold her or pat her back or something to make her stop crying . . . I felt so bad for her. I hope she feels better now.

  • Aaaaaand this is why I hate babies

  • @TheColorEarth

And this is why i hate babies too. damn it, they drive you to put them out. Drove me madd!

  • And that's how Glenn Beck was born

  • I think Colic is what happens when a baby realizes it was accidentally born on this planet instead of one of those candy planets or dinosaur planets.

  • cracked brought me here... but why would you make such a vid? who the fuck gives a fucking shit goddamit

  • I made it through the whole thing. To the poster: Have you had your daughter checked for GERD? My daughter was never *this* bad, but we caught it by the time she was a month and a half old. If it is GERD, then infant zantac will help immensely.

  • IDK why but that baby made me laugh. made it for 48 seconds till i got bored

  • Unfortunately there are a lot of people who continue crying like this well into adulthood, just look at most politicians.

  • I'd throw that awful thing down a well!

Nah just kidding,I love babies and I'm a guy.

  • This is why I cant have kids.

  • I'm a babysitter so crying pretty much doesn't faze me.

  • My mom says I had colic for THIRTEEN MONTHS. How did she not murder me?

  • Why is this a channel?

  • I had a cat that did this.

  • Only made it for 9 seconds. It's just too painful to watch.

  • My son (now 18 & in college) had colic for 4 months. I so remember that cry. You do get through it, they do grow up fine. However I have no fond memories of his infancy when he screamed his lungs out and fought to keep my sanity.

Oh made it through the whole thing so add another 3 and half minutes to my four months...

  • My son (now 18 & in college) had colic for 4 months. I so remember that cry. You do get through it, they do grow up fine. However I have no fond memories of his infancy when he screamed his lungs out and fought to keep my sanity.

  • Awwh... after a few seconds it just made me sad :,c

You have the strength of a lion for not panicking and crying.

  • Initiating protocol Alpha. MAC rounds are authorized, as are airlocks, earplugs, ANYTHING TO MAKE IT GO AWAY!

  • Made it to the end. It's either I find me a girl or a big barrel of whiskey. What bigger torture can you let us experience, Cracked?

  • Can someone just feed it to a bunch of lions..

  • I'm extremely happy that I'll never have kids.

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP! lol

  • That is an ugly disgusting baby, and should be killed

  • @ughthis1sstupid YOU are ugly and disgusting.

  • I made it to 10 seconds and was like the fuck am I doing with my life.

  • YOUR PAIN FEEDS ME.

  • earplugs

  • do they still need a voice actor for the thing in the remake thats coming out later next month?

  • Maybe a Sesame Street ball-gag?

  • Cracked.com brought me here.

  • Birth Control: the movie.

  • @doctoryarn Seriously? You're going to fucking make fun of a kid who is in a fuck ton of pain and has a life threatening disease? That's someone's kid, man. That's messed up.

  • @glanier92 Colic is not life threatening. Plus i think you missed the point of the comment. What I was going for was, "think of the consequences of having unprotected sex."

  • This is why i am okay with not passing on my genes (not that any female would ever date me, Ha!)
