My dad died last year in the ending of the year... I am only 14 years old I didn't feel it was fair. Me and him did not get along, kids says " Why do you care you did like him" I don't show my emotions in front of my family and this song breaks it my but i love this, and its been a while staind. If more people visited Planned Parenthood and learned a little about ways not to get pregnant before they plan to, folks like the guy in the song wouldn't have to drop all their dreams too early and start changing diapers, watching too much TV, and generally becoming like most other dumb people who decide not to accomplish anything in their lives because they got some girl pregnant.
I had a pregnancy scare this summer and i pretty much sang this as a girl becoming a mother. I wasnt & its probs for the better but im also kinda sad i wasnt. :(
I'm 17 years old, and I ended up getting my girlfriend pregnant awhile back. I was scared, and i thought my life was over. But as she began to grow bigger, so did my love for my son. I listened to this song and it always put a smile on my face! but then the news came.... She had a weight dropped on her stomach and she lost it.. I think about my son everyday, and I listen to this song to help cope with the pain. This is one of the very few songs with true meaning.
The only way for me to get away from my life is by music. I have no true friends, parents that scream at me, and I feel like an outcast and that there's nowhere for me to get away from my depression. Music like this makes my life feel, even for just a moment, like nothing is wrong, like my life is good enough as to where I don't feel left out or a nuisance/waste of space.
Though my life is a mess, music always makes it better. That's a lesson everyone needs to learn.
@RJAspmm1 I agree. Music is the best way to drown out bad thoughts and feelings. It stops you from having time to think about life right? I've been through depression at least three times, the most rescent time being when I found out about creed. Also; Please don't think you're an outcast. Your parents might shout at you but they love you. Family are a pain, and trust me I know, but they love you all the same. If more people visited Planned Parenthood and learned a little about ways not to get pregnant before they plan to, folks like the guy in the song wouldn't have to drop all their dreams too early and start changing diapers, watching too much TV, and generally becoming like most other dumb people who decide not to accomplish anything in their lives because they got some girl pregnant.

I had a pregnancy scare this summer and i pretty much sang this as a girl becoming a mother. I wasnt & its probs for the better but im also kinda sad i wasnt. :(

I'm 17 years old, and I ended up getting my girlfriend pregnant awhile back. I was scared, and i thought my life was over. But as she began to grow bigger, so did my love for my son. I listened to this song and it always put a smile on my face! but then the news came.... She had a weight dropped on her stomach and she lost it.. I think about my son everyday, and I listen to this song to help cope with the pain. This is one of the very few songs with true meaning.

The only way for me to get away from my life is by music. I have no true friends, parents that scream at me, and I feel like an outcast and that there's nowhere for me to get away from my depression. Music like this makes my life feel, even for just a moment, like nothing is wrong, like my life is good enough as to where I don't feel left out or a nuisance/waste of space.
Though my life is a mess, music always makes it better. That's a lesson everyone needs to learn.

@RJAspmm1 I agree. Music is the best way to drown out bad thoughts and feelings. It stops you from having time to think about life right? I've been through depression at least three times, the most rescent time being when I found out about creed. Also; Please don't think you're an outcast. Your parents might shout at you but they love you. Family are a pain, and trust me I know, but they love you all the same. If u need someone to talk to then just send me a message cuz I know what it's like.

seem like a very nice person i once felt just like i think you do i was down i felt alone and i had no friends everyday i got to school and people would stop talking and just stare at me for some time i was even considering suicide and that was when i started to listen to this kind of music and i read the comments and it made me feel great (need more space)

He was the one who heard me he was my shoulder I cried on.... He says I will never leave or forsake you. He brings joy that is so great its a blessing to have him as my friend I may not be able to see him but I can feel him and I know he is there and always be. I just wanted to tell you that...
