i wish there was a prosedure that didn't take out the front part of ure eye so that way there would be little to none possible side effects if any of you know the best and safest way please tell me idc about the price i justt wan't it done the best way possible
I had this done 4 weeks ago and the result was amazing. I was -6 in both eyes and had better than 20/20 the next day. I won't deny its a bit unpleasant but its not painful. Its a small price to pay for perfect vision
Mine was £3,200 altogether which included the intralase. It is expensive but you can do it in monthly payments up to 4 years if you want. Its cheaper in the long run than glasses/contacts and well worth it for the freedom it gives you. It all depends on how bad your sight is, the worse it is equals more expensive. Hope this helps,

Hi there, I just had intralase done 2 wks ago..My near vision is excellent but my distance vision is still a bit blurry. How long did it take for your vision to stabilize? Thnks for posting this!! :)
il77m, I had blurry vision my first 2 weeks, also. It goes and comes. Especially with those drops. It's like the liquid blurs your eyes, and you may get that gunk on your eye lids. Don't worry. I was there, too. About a month and blurriness went away and the "foreign object in your eye" feeling, too. Vision stabilizes at different speeds for different people. Some corneas can take up to 2 years to heal, but that's not usually the case.
blicksflicks, Thnks for your message! I was really concerned the first few months but now at five months post op I am really pleased!!! My vision has preety much stabilized and I am seeing quite clear and crisp! The blurriness has diminished and I just put in lubricating drops throughout the day.. The dryness in my eyes has improved...I just have a bit of dryness in the morn but it's gotten alot better! You just have to be patient and keep LUBRICATED!!.I also was blind as a bat before surgery!
How often do you put drops in your eyes? At two months post-op, I'm putting a drop in about eight times a day in each eye. I don't really feel drop at all. I just do it sometimes for comfort. How long should I use the lubrication drops? Up to six months? I heard that six months is when the vision totally is stabilized.
I would say about five times a day. At two months post op you're still in the healing stage so it wouldn't hurt to continue with your current regimen as it contributes to the healing of the cornea, flap and nerves. I would recommend using them regularly up to the six month point and look into having a dry eye assessment with your surgeon He can assess the level of dryness and determine if you should continue with your regimen.I plan on using them regularly until I see my dr at the one yr point.
This is amazing. My husband and I will have Customvue surgery 2 weeks later. Thank you for posting this and I feel much better about the surgery now. :)
Oh goodness. Don't worry. I had it done. Complications are rare. This was my opinion: if I have to put lubrication drops in my eyes eight times a day for the rest of my life and don't have to buy glasses or put contacts in my eyes, I'm totally happy. I see with 20/15 vision, and before I was blind as a bat. I mean, if I had gotten in a fight, I couldn't even see where to punch. Now I have 20/15 vision? I say it's a miracle. I love it. :)

its not IntraLASIK
coz intralasik dont remove a thing from ur eye

what do you mean?
bobversion2 3 years ago
wrong sucka, intraLASIK uses an intralase laser to remove the corneal flap rather than a metal blade. Its the best type of surgery
