I recall 1999 game that we lost in Yerevan by the slightest of margin. It is an honor to be ranked so high on the FIFA's ranking table and that will allow Armenia some quality friendlies prior to the World Cup Qualifiers. Such a pleasure also to see Ozbiliz getting healthy for Ajax and the rest of the Armenians playing at high level for their clubs!

I read in one of the multiple news reports on Armenian news webpages. It is not an insider information:)

The location of the match is still in question but our arrogantly beloved FFA has been in negotiation with 4-5 teams in an attempt to produce 4-5 QUALITY friendly matches prior the start of the World Cup qualification. That hopefully means matches against teams other than the ex-Soviet Republics.

I think that it will be hard for Italy and Denmark to come to Armenias boiling stadium and get points, our fans are pretty dedicated and havent acted this way since the 70,80's when FC ARARAT got to the Quarter Final och Champions League. One time we even started a riot and didnt let the players and refs get out of the stadium because of a wrong descision against Dinamo Kyiv., Now thats respect.

when Ireland beat armenia 1-0, everybody knew ireland got lucky, because armenia was the better side,,,,,but today Armenia is even better side than it was on the first game.  So we have high hopes that Armenia will prevail, and should prevail.....There is not just euro 2012 on the line, but national pride, history-making, doors open for armenian players to high end euro teams. Its pretty much guaranteed if your team goes to euro 2012, players are already EURO-CLASS.

ok,,, this is how it is to keep it simple, if SLovakia and Armenia win both of their games, they go through, Armenia as number 1 seed. Very Very highly possible, as Slovakia has Russia At home and MAcedonia Away, and Armenia has Macedonia at home, and Ireland away. Ireland game is gona be very very hard..but if Armenians feel they have a chance to be #1, they WILL BE.

IRELAND 18, ARMENIA 17, SLOVAKIA 17, RUSSIA 17, because if there is 3 way tie, they look at the 3 teams pts against each other, and in that case, it will be ARMENIA 7 (2 wins with SLO, 1 tie with RUSSIA), SLOVAKIA 6 (2 wins with russia), RUSSIA 4 (1 win and 1 tie with ARM). if ARM wins IRE, SLO at least ties MACED, Armenia goes through #1 seed, SLO #2.
