Hear what God of Israel YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH (Son and Father are ONE) saying to our generation by His chosen prophets: Trumpetcallofgodonline. com ; Letter called "Purify Your Faith, and Come to the Father as It is Written": EXCERPT: "Only in the Bible and through these very Letters, of which I have given to My prophet of the end of this age, shall you find Him and know Him."
At 1:30, you say Gibson makes 1,380,000 guitars a year, and that's one every second. One every second would be 60 a min, 3,600 an hour, 86,400 a day, 31,536,000. So do they make 1,380,000 guitars a year, or 31,536,000 guitars a year?
First of all, this is not a video about the 'evolution' of music, it's just a bunch of facts. Secondly, that video of the kid was not Dr. Dre (Google it), and thirdly vinyl sales
being up 41% just means that last year 100 records were sold, this year 141 records were sold, big deal... trust me, I'm a DJ, vinyl is dead.
I expected this to be a comprehensive evolution of music, like at least since sebeastian bach's time, and I was very disappointed. It was kind of interesting nonetheless.
Agreed, the video elements were very interesting, but it lacked the information of proper music history. Perhaps if you make a video including how and why the music progressed the way it did, it would be a much more comprehensive and enlightening video.
Very interesting. We read things here and there with various statistics. But, you put it all together in a way that feels more meaningful. Thanks.
With historical theme in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!
At 42, I am a new artist just starting out playing blues-rock and have been doing a lot of research on how to build a modest income doing what I love to do. It is amazing how much the music industry has changed. Records sales are at an all time low because of file sharing and you have to sell a lot of records for a major label to just break even. If you could sell a fraction of their minimums on your own you would be extremely successful as an Indie artist and wouldn't even need the labels.
Pretty sure Eddy Grant, Tina Turner, Joan Armatrading etc. were on MTV before Michael Jackson.

@dizzyrocks2001 And yet the indie scene continues to sell some albums entirely on vinyl to great effect...
