  • this is a post version of the game.. the original kung-fu master is definitely a NES game.

  • dude...u got owned on the 2nd level....i use to play this game on atari 2600 when i was a kid....i beat it...the lightning guy was hard

  • I though 2600 version of Kung Fu was better than NES, even NES have superior graphic from ATARI 2600

  • @declaration963 what a hipster

  • Holy crap, I always thought this was a NES game.... this game looks amazing on the Atari 2600..... ebay here I come!

  • I found this video from the Classic Game Room review of the Nintendo version. I'm amazed that the 2600 comes pretty close to the NES on this game. I mean, at least the graphics are good enough to know what's going on.

  • @d1664256 Yeah, definitely, considering most things on the NES are just slightly differently shaded blobs, this must have looked amazing. But then the nes version came along and owned it....

  • cool

  • this game is actually pretty impressive for the Atari. The animation is pretty smooth and the graphics are fairly sharp.

  • @tombert256 Was going to say the same thing. I feel sad for the 2600, so far behind the NES, but considering what most games on it looked like, this is impressive.

  • @retread01 I'm particularly impressed by the sound. It has background music AND action sounds. The only other game on the 2600 that does that (that I can think of) is Pitfall 2.

  • @retread01 In this day and age, both the Atari 2600 and the NES are lightyears behind the X-Box 360.

  • i feel like breakdancing, what an old skool game
