I found this video from the Classic Game Room review of the Nintendo version. I'm amazed that the 2600 comes pretty close to the NES on this game. I mean, at least the graphics are good enough to know what's going on.
@d1664256 Yeah, definitely, considering most things on the NES are just slightly differently shaded blobs, this must have looked amazing. But then the nes version came along and owned it....
@tombert256 Was going to say the same thing. I feel sad for the 2600, so far behind the NES, but considering what most games on it looked like, this is impressive.
@retread01 I'm particularly impressed by the sound. It has background music AND action sounds. The only other game on the 2600 that does that (that I can think of) is Pitfall 2.
this is a post version of the game.. the original kung-fu master is definitely a NES game.

I though 2600 version of Kung Fu was better than NES, even NES have superior graphic from ATARI 2600

this game is actually pretty impressive for the Atari. The animation is pretty smooth and the graphics are fairly sharp.

@retread01 In this day and age, both the Atari 2600 and the NES are lightyears behind the X-Box 360.
