  • damn wipe that smurk of that bitchs face man

  • Is this radar ?

'Cause it seems more like sonar.

  • Is'nt radar radiation dangerous ?

  • RADAR:RAdio Detection And Ranging, so, dangerous is the wave length and the power in question.

  • @vufido You're right, this is actually nokia's prototype for raygun cellphones, available in 2012.

  • IT'S A THEREMIN! lol

  • @jrichman63 Theremins are cool :O) I would love to have one in my phone. Connect it to my stereoset and my neighbours would hate me. :oD

  • Cool idea but how much will this add to the price

  • ерунда кокаето....... но начало хорошее

  • cool now Nokia could team up with the military and develop a proximity detector like the one the Marines used in Alien 2.

  • @petesonline

    Yeah! :D

now the only things we don't have are aliens to kill !!! xD

  • But mostly totally useless feature so far *g*

  • Turn your smartphone into safe with Black & White Guard!

  • @c3mky, repeating Phils awswer in Nokia Conversations blog that it´s modified N95 to the viewers in this channel. They said the radar hardware takes up much of the space in the device, but its just a proto. They said the production hardware would be very small, and could even possibly use the existing radios.

  • Again, i see nokia engineers with an N95. Its going to be hard to exceed this cellphone. I've had n95 and n97, and while the n97 is visually much nicer, its also a lot more fragile and less reliable.

  • totally agree. I hate my N97 but I'm stuck with it for the next 12 months. really miss my n95 8gb

  • I'm pretty sure I saw that type of N95 faceplate on a picture before, I think it was a proto N95 of when it was in development.

  • I think that the front panel has been changed from the n95-1 to the moded one. There is no way that a normal n95 can feel such movements. That moded front panel surely has a special sensor.

So,i think,if this concept will become a real, than probably we will need to buy the aplication with the moded front panel. ;)

And one more thing, here is a demonstration about how seriously is nokia on developing new aplications even on old phones.Apple for example is releasing every day games for children.

  • mayber last 2 years????or last 3 years?

  • Nice, That looks like a N95 Mark 2.

    I want one :D

  • I don't need this !

  • One more time I say: I <3 Nokia :D

  • That's pretty cool. But I'm interested in how the phone knows which person to measure?

  • cool :D

  • woooow
