Besides he sold most of his german stuff so he got most of his money back. :) I just started a few months ago and so far so good. I almost got scammed into buying a vietnam helmet though.

I want to start a military collection, but i'm not sure what to collect. any ideas, WWIIAustrailianTroop?

Well there are several options: If you dont have a whole lot of money to be buying military things then start smalle, like collecting medals, patches, pins and so on. If thats not something you want to do then maybe start a helmet collection or uniforms. Or maybe field gear. Once you start getting up there and have it pretty good, then move on to the bigger stuff like the uniforms, knives, weapons and so on. Hope this helps :)

A world War I helmet..... Probably E bay maybe...they are usally around $100.00. a WWII U.S. helmet complete, swivel bale is around or a little less than $100.00. I fixed bale helmet is about $150.00....Look on ebay. Oh ya...front seams are WWII, rear seams are late WWII/post war.

50. Cal boxes from WWII are really easy to find, and hey are really cheap. If there's any antique stores or surplus stores by you odds are they have some.

Thanks for the comment. No, it is not Live ammo, but is 100% ammo. The Grenade, M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, Thompson, Colt and other shell's are real, most from WWII and The Korean War. I bought a 1953 Huge Rocket crate and it had about 20 M1 Garand, and Carbine shells in it.
