She's Vanessa Mae. She can dress anyway she wants. The fact of the matter is that if they had bill-boarded Vanessa as "Live in Bathing Suit!" - you would have needed to shoot people from breaking the front doors down just to get a chance to witness her playing in de Beach Side fashion.
Get over it. She's beyond amazing and well within her normal couture arrival status. ;)
Wow! Magnificent performance, magnificent music! But (and there's always a but) who told her she could dress like that in a professional concert? She looks more like Xena the Warrior Princess than a delicate violin playstress!
Contrary to belief, Vanessa Mae does not need a fancy electronic violin to work her magic. This is just a plain wooden violin that she is using...a plain wooden Stradivarius, that is. The lady is truly a prodigy; taking Rock and making Classical out of it and taking Classical and Rocking it around the clock.
@KMacKellerann everubody thinks to have a stadivarius but there are only 13 with cerified the rest are fake or warnerios or even stratovarius I don't think she he is playing a 2 million dolar instrument.
Vanessa Mae has such long fingers. I wonder if she had concentrated on the normal road of pure classical music how far she would have gone but she is now regarded as a bit of an outcast by the purely classical class, fine violinist what ever your view of her is.
@no1knowledge Perhaps they view her as an outcast; but I suspect there are some sour grapes involved there. Simple fact; almost all the greats were "Outcast" by the musical establishment of their day. It is for later generations to appreciate their art.
Bravo!!!!
