My opinion: most of AVGN's points are wrong, and most of them don't take into account obvious things. However, he is the funnier one. I like them both.

A lot of these complaints are valid, but also saying one can't review a game already reviewed by another is kind of silly, and if a complaint is valid, then saying one can't use that complains is a silly argument too. There is a simple reason why AVGN is better. James has experience with directing. He knows how to handle the process of making a video and how to make it enjoyable for the viewer. There is a simple reason why AVGN is better. James has experience with directing. He knows how to handle the process of making a video and how to make it enjoyable for the viewer. The big thing is that The Nerd is his own character with a personality. The Irate Gamer seems to just be him yelling stuff at video games. All in all, AVGN is flat out more entertaining to watch.
...or better yet, fuck it. Who gives a shit whose better. Watch what you want.
