Just been given an acer travelmate 2420 with 256meg dead fan and needing a good format .. put 2 x 512k new fan fresh windows etc .. runs perfect! Agree about Vista though it sucks best with a b*stardised xp sp3 modded up for older laptops ... no need destroy a laptop for no reason you must have 2 much cash lol

Acer sucks!!! I had an Aspire netbook with Windows 7 Starter, and after a month when I would turn it on, it wouldn't load Windows it would just be a black screen. I sent it to Acer to get it fixed.
