I like what some motorcycle riders and residents of one town those sign wielding idiots tried to protest at during a soldiers funeral.. The motorcycle riders revved thier bikes while some people with a huge american flag from a car dealership held it up in front of those idiots.. So the soldiers family never heard or even saw the idiots.. I would have also liked it some one had slipped up an did some thing to thier car like slip in a traqulised skunk that was about to wake up.

my husband and i serve in the army and he just came back from deployment and i agree whole heartedly that those people who are holding those signs have no fucking clue what its like. i stay home because when they deployed i was pregnant with our son and i couldnt go with him. him being in afghanistan and not knowing if im ever gonna hear from him again was the hardest thing ive ever been thru and its bullshit that some people have the nerve to protest the very thing that sets them free
Soldiers are true heroes to me. I'm a 16 year old girl and although I'm a teenager, I still know enough to say that these men and women are so inspirational to me and the fact that those people hold those signs saddens me. They wouldn't be able to do anything if it wasn't for the actions of our soldiers. God bless them and please pray for them everyday<3
I actually cried at :44, just because of the undecency of that picture. The people in that picture dont deserve to live in this country, where someone you dont even know is fighting for your life everyday. I have a cousin currently serving overseas, my dad was a paratrooper for 7 years, My uncle served in Desert storm my grandpa (both of them) fought in vietnam, and my great grandpa was in pearl harbor when it was attacked. I was raised to be proud of this country, and the people who served it.

Secondly-- I enlisted Nov 7th 2009 for a 4 year term. My father served 22 years in the U.S. Army, he retired as a MSG. It is all I've wanted to do since I was 9 years old, and when I finally did enlist my extended family kept questioning me, as well as my friends. I've asked other enlistees why they are enlisting and it has all been job security, is no one a true patriot anymore? It saddens to me see the ignorance about the Military.

There isn't a soldier anywhere that wouldn't choose to be at home rather than in harm's way. Its a hard life being a soldier and I am thankful that there are those who chose such a path. Soldiers are not bringers of death, they are defenders of life.

I don't understand these people that feel the need to insult and belittle the soldiers that are fighting and DYING for their freedom. It is insulting to both the surviving soldiers and the families of the ones that didn't come home. What happened to the country that would celebrate the return of a soldier? My heart breaks every time I see this situation, absolutely breaks for the soldiers and their families. Not everyone is against you soldiers, I hope you know. Many of us pray every day for you

I cannot tell you the sense of pride we have that swells up in us when we see you guys...Please just remember that...no matter what there will ALWAYS be people who are thankful for what you do and are praying for you every day.

First off--Thank you, shawncollier1970 for your service.
Secondly-- I enlisted Nov 7th 2009 for a 4 year term. My father served 22 years in the U.S. Army, he retired as a MSG. It is all I've wanted to do since I was 9 years old, and when I finally did enlist my extended family kept questioning me, as well as my friends. I've asked other enlistees why they are enlisting and it has all been job security, is no one a true patriot anymore? It saddens to me see the ignorance about the Military.

There isn't a soldier anywhere that wouldn't choose to be at home rather than in harm's way. Its a hard life being a soldier and I am thankful that there are those who chose such a path. Soldiers are not bringers of death, they are defenders of life.
Politicians create the mess and the soldiers have to go take care of it.
