I remember "A" was for ground pass, "B" was for lob, and "C" was auto-pass(short self-pass). I'm not sure about the defensive controls.

Its real name is Super Sidekicks, but in Europe is known as the title. It's arcade, but also for snk consoles and I've heard they're gonna release it on Virtual Console (Wii) as Super Sidekicks. You can also play it with the MAME emulator.
