Wow! THESE are the kind of card tricks I love. People can shuffle all they want and the trick still works. While doing this trick I would add one unnecessary move to confuse the audience so they don't try it themselves and see they can do it without you. Maybe cover the card before turning it so they think you quickly replaced it somehow.

Oh, hearts worked fine for me, but not the jokers. I just removed them and it's the perfect trick. Thanks for showing us.

If bottom card was ace,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,jack,queen­,king whatever, lets say it was four of diamonds.. you can spell it what ever you like , example, "seven..of...hearts..." and fifth card is still that four of diamonds... i just tried it, and work'd.

@TheAvengedScar eeey man, i'm dutch too, and i figuerd something out for us dutchies, what you need:

1.12 cards

2. divide them in equal piles of 4 cards

3. you let someone pick a pile and let them look at the bottom card

4. pile the cards up, with the spectators pile on top(like mismag does)

5. then what you do, count(not out loud) three cards and put rest of the cards on those 3 cards

6. repeat step 5

7.now what youdo, you count down cards depending on the persons name

@TheAvengedScar for example, if someone's name is john, you count down 7 cards, put the rest of the pile on top and spell john. And after you put down the N, the first card after that is their card. And the same goes for a name with 5 letters, then you put down sixth cards: and first card after the final letter is their card.

It's not exactly the same as this trick but it works kind of the same^^

This trick is really cool. I've been trying it different ways and it works everytime. If you add 3 more cards [12 instead of 9] and do the steps the exact same way it still works except now the card will be in the 3rd posistion instead of fifth.

Here's a tip to make this trick alot better. You do everything up until you spell the exact card they picked. You could ask them what their favorite card in the whole deck is, then spell that, and if the card they originally picked is in the third position it should still be the 5th card down. Tell me if it worked.

here is the secret:

when you choose your pile, you put your choosen pile in two piles' top, and your card's position is number 3.no matter you are five,six,seven,king,you do like 0:35-0:38 what mismag822 do and you card's position is number 7!!then the words ''of'' you do what 0:38-0:40 do and you card's position is number 5.again,no matter your card are spades,clubs what ever(this dosn't matter it is 5-9 words it works),and do what he do again and you card's position is 5 now!!

Here's how it works (don't read if you don't want to know).

1) Pile selected. Card goes to 3rd from top.

2) Value of card is spelled out. You always deal at least 3 cards here. The other 6 go on top in some way. Card is 7th from top.

3) "Of" is spelled. Card is 5th from top.

4) Suit of card is spelled out. You always deal at least 5 cards here. The other 4 go on top in some way. Card is 5th from top.

5) Card is revealed to be 5th from top.

i'm a brazilian, and this trick doesn't work with the Portuguese translation of the cards...

it worked only with the spades, with the other type of cards (pt: Ouro, Paus and Copa), the card chosen will be the first card after you spell their card.

How it works...

The chosen card is always #3 in the stack once you recombine all 3 piles.

Then you spell out the card which has either 3, 4, or 5 letters (ex. two, four, three).

Well as long as it has at least 3 letters (which it does), it will put your card at 3rd from the bottom, or #7 every time.

"Of" has 2 letters, moving your card to #5, right in the middle.

And then the suit has to have at least 5 letters in order to keep your card at #5. Which they all do ("clubs" is the smallest).

TIP to make this trick better!- ask the spectator to choose ANY card, you then repeat what mismag does with the card they declare, so if they say five of spades, do f,i,v,e... o,f.... s,p,a,d,e,s and vice versa. It doesn't matter which card they choose, the 5th card will ALWAYS be their card. Thumbs up if this works!

@maplelegend1 There's this trick that uses the same concept. When you ask them to tell you their card you can thell them to lie or not. Once you spell it out instead of going 'magic' or their name say "were you telling the truth?"

then spell out T,R,U,T,H, and on the H it will be their card if you want a better explanation just ask and I'll do a video.
