  • RMP-3 or CDJ-850?

  • @oXoAeternooXo always go for pioneer I think, but isn't the cdj much more expensive?

    Cheers

  • Hi ellaskins :) Firts i whold like to say u're doin' a great job with your videos, i learned much from them. Now. a question about the RMP-3's, because I saw many tipes of players in your videos and I think u cane make e very good comparison betwen them :How good are they really and can the effects on the unit replace the effect on a mixer like tose on the Reloop RMX-40 or DJM-400 or DJM-800 ? 10x 4 your time :)

  • is it possible to conect the reloop to the computer (like a midi Controler)?

when yes , it is a usb kable in the box

  • Hey John,

Can you please do a video on the Tracktor 1.2 setup on RMP3.

    Thank you

    Kamal

  • Jonathan, please answer me on this one, - i was having a little talk with a friend of mine about the BPM counter on this Cd player, and would like to ask what you think about it compared to Pioneers bpm counter

  • Can u plug a iPod in the device and play music off you iPod??

  • good made tutorial and of course really sexy DJ CD-Players :))

  • what is the difference between interface and controller when ur using digital the midi??

    thankss

  • CAN ANYONE HELP ME! I CAN NOT CONNECT MY CD PLAYER TO TRACTOR, I've been stuck for 3 weeks NOW! : '(

  • @niiiimaaaa

you have a RMP-3? are you in MIDI mode? hold down the source button..

    check your manual

  • yes i have a rmp-3. there is only one CD player that works, the other one does not work. how can i start the other one???

  • @niiiimaaaa

its a bit hard to say from your description what the problem is, but if your other device works..maybe you should go to your dealer

  • i bought these with the american audio mx-1400 dsp

    they r awesome together

they have so many great features that you dont have to go all out for a mega expensive mixer

  • cdj 400/800 or the rmp 2 / 3?

which do u like more ellaskins? thank u!

  • same question!

  • cdj 800 if you have the money otherwise the rmp 3

  • @HenkGoesBad

bear in mind that the RMP-3 can handle CD/MP3, USB devices and MIDI control. how about the CDJ-800?

  • I agree totaly, I want the rmp3 myself but I like the cdj800 more (strange I know) why? the cdj800 is a better 'preperation' for cdj1000's wich you find in any club. Its not for the functions because reloop owns big times there but pure for being prepaired to play on music instalations at clubs...

I'm goining to buy the RMP3 myself because I don't find the differences as shocking as other dj's I know. A question for the RMP3 and traktor: Do you need audio card to connect your pc to your mixer?

  • Not to mention a cdj is priced way worse than a reloop, it's just that you don't ever find them in a club unlike cdj800's

  • yes, the RMP-3 is just the controller, not an interface

  • Ok thanks

  • @Jari949 rmp 3 man , get cdj 850 if not :P

  • Can u do a full review on the rmp3. and lay your own opinion to it if its a great buy or not! Thx in advance!

    // Swedish DJ

  • Hey ellaskins when are you going to review the Denon dn-s3700?

  • Ah, I'd love to see that!

  • Looks like the bpm readout is abit sketchy. Shame really, would be better to leave it off and save it for entery level CDj's.

  • would you do a video on the midi functions working with Traktor? that wud be awesum

  • do these cd players work with a.. say like a pioneer mixer, properly? like can they be used like a normal cd players too? look complicated with that reloop mixers O.o

  • Nah everything is independant. It can be used like a normal CDJ

  • of course you can use them with a normal mixer

but, i think, that the reloop mixer, when you undesrtood how does it works, is not more complicated, but more simply!

  • Yes they do work with any "dj mixer". That's because the output is standardized level (voltage) and the audio connections are made with the most common (at least in consumer electronics) connectors called RCA. And yes they play also CDs. If it looks complicated you have to study harder. ALSO READ THE MANUAL after you've gotten those. :D

  • Paavi, emmä noin tyhmä ole. :D mietin vaa ku oli aika hankalan näköset nuo.. vertaa mun omiin täl hetkel nimittäi..

  • hy, i asked before and didn't get answer, does reloop rmp3 have ruber like top coat ? rmp1 have that coat and all dust sticks to it

  • Dust sticks to everything

Rubbery coating is cool but if it starts to peel it gets ugly

  • the coat is kind of a soft plastic, but like anything if you dont cover it after use it will collect dust, better to cover with a cloth. j ps , do this with all kit

  • Or use Decksavers :-) Cloth is cloth and can still leave some dust on your decks...

  • Great Video!
