She was just six. Gretchen plays the zither, violin, guitar, Steierische harmonika and piano/organ... she most prefers the zither and violin. She is just now experimenting with the Hackbrett. She composes many Volkische melodie and Catholic hymns.

Not at the moment... Old Man Recession has got us and we have been concentrating on our clockmaking and musical box restoration shop... perhaps in June we may record again ...and there isn't much call for Volksmusik in USA... they are more Cleaveland polka fans. A himmas dank u griass di Goad!

This was performed by my daughter, Gretchen, who also wrote the tune. The fotos were assembled by myself.
