  • In today's economics we have absolute and relative poverty. But I think only relative poverty exits if we expand the notion of poverty across space and time. In the point of view of a caveman, today's poor man is wealthy in his view. OTOH, in the point of view of alien in more advanced planet out there, even Bill Gates is poorer than the poorest man in his planet.

  • This is written by someone with half knowledge. Good job on the #'s while your doing all those calculations did you ever think how much it would cost to transport, divide evenly, and police that kind of effort? Not to mention that forcing the world to do things is the definition of NWO.

As for the homeless many of them are addicts or mentally off, they can't function in a society so they choose solitaire.

I grew up in a homeless shelter, I know personally these struggles, can you say the same?

  • @Cisco777Kidd : google "equal money"

  • And yes I know that about homeless people. I have heard a few of them do their story, most of em are alcoholic.

  • its just idealistic.

People are born wanting more. No one will give up anything for free. We wont be able to sustain anyones wealth if we suddenly start handing out food. You say we create plenty of food, but what if large land owners gave back land to the people? Farming suddenly becomes less efficient and we no longer have enough food. Small individual farmers do not have the same technological equipment that the large scal ones do. Thats why in the 1600s europe got rid of individual farms.

  • @OnlyTheWeakNeedHelp

they found oth that large scale farmers were much more efficient to feed their growing population.

  • @SpamAnn ok. I think it's caused by a mix of problems, like impirialism, protectionism, bad governement policy and the multinationals.

  • @SpamAnn So what's the real cause of this poverty?

  • @Incontinentus : humans allowing themselves to be controlled and slaves of their programmed mind and in that way do not do what is best for all. And make choices which are programmed within them , such as following self intrest.

  • we should spam every site with this video

  • @ElCharlyMEX lol, go go go!

  • all i can say is watch 'zeitgeist addendum'

  • @layercakes : I did loooonngg time ago + am on their forum of venus project

  • @layercakes The first one was pretty good, but I found Addendum went on a strange path. Their ideas in the end are nice, but unatainable wiithout a huge effort and cost.

I am not saying it is not worth it, but it is unrealistic.

  • @Silentsam7532 I agree; Thats why we work on an equal money system .

  • come on man, this vid sld have more views!! let the world know about this and let make a diffence man!

  • AMEN! How many, many times I have heard all of those myths & others like them while no one even bothers to ask the poor the best way to alleviate poverty? Finally! Some common sense here!! These views need to be aired in every public forum possible. I take my hat off to you because so many, many upper middle class Americans assume the poor are poor because they are lazy, stupid [uneducated & too stupid to learn]& not motivated. *Praise God for someone willing to TELL IT LIKE IT IS!!

  • ask Ann if she is a Godsent before you praise

  • I created this with pure facts and no god.

If a god did exist thou, then he would be part of whats in the video= the poverty and abuse he allowed and created as his existence. Sadistical

  • hunger relief can simply not be acheived under the globalized capitalist international market. People may have lofty or idealist suggestions, but no, it will not be done. This video touched on and challenged so many economic principles. It shows how the corporations and big money greed (along with "relief") has executed the post industrial version of colonization: exploiting the people for cheap labor and perpetuating 3rd world debt and dependence, ultimately enslaving the globe. good video.

  • China and India are great examples of free trade working to lift millions out of poverty and hunger. When these two countries were communist and socialist all the five year plans did NOTHING to relieve poverty. The Economist has a great article on why Aid should continue. Jeffrey Sachs's book "The End of Poverty" is also a good read. I know people in Vietnam Singapore and South Korea would agree their lives are better with trade than without.

  • Stupid 500 character limit. The Brazil case and the Mexican case isn't free trade being bad but having bad domestic government. Mexico isn't that poor, but inequality persists. That isn't to say that you have to have an American model, Britain and Ireland embraced capitalism and free markets, while keeping free education and universal health care. It's not "the american inequality way or nothing". Its still better to have free trade and capitalism than no trade and "protection"

  • We can fix inequality here without abandoning free trade. Again domestic government is to blame, not poor people thousands of miles away who "stole" our jobs.

  • indeed, poor people are not to blame

  • Is there any books that you can offer?

  • great video about the overall economic system we have in the world. It needs to be changed and I believe we are making progress, first by awareness.

  • I agree. But we must be carefull with the environment...if we dont change the way we pollute the planet, even more people will be poor...and its comming very very close
