This is my opinion:

The first coin is fake, and he can eat it. He has fake skin on his arm and a magnet in his hand and "pushes" the magnetic coin under his fake skin. Fake skin can easily be made by some plastic and make-up. He has some fake blood at the bottom of the fake skin, which comes out when he "cuts" himself. The coin which is showing up is a duplicate. I mean, how hard can it be to write two identical "Ka"-coins?

Step one of any magic trick is misdirection. Get the audience looking in a place where they THINK the coin is, when in reality it's, in this case, being kept outside of the mouth and moved to a slot in the fake arm covering. Once everyone is looking in his mouth, he makes the switch. Then he either uses a string or magnet to pull the coin down the arm covering. Really rather simple trick, but Chris Angel is a remarkable showman. And showmanship in magic is EVERYTHING.

the arm is a latex sleeve, basically a perfectly shaped condom for his arm. When he rolled his shirt sleeve up he spit the coin out and slipped it under the latex and let the shirt fall over the seam. He coaxed the coin along his arm through the lubricating arm goo. and pulls it out. BTW the Reason he is wearing that bracelet is to cover the bottom of the latex sleeve.

You can make a a similar goo at home with vegetable oil and black cherry Koolaid
