  • Hehe I love Vincent but then... so does Vincent!

  • OMG

  • is this like the uk version of dancing with the stars?

  • @ElectrikkPaperClipxx yes and no - actually Dancing with the Stars is the international version of this, the BBC sold the format but the name was changed because it references an older British programme ('Come Dancing') that wouldn't be recognised by foreign audiences

  • @ElectrikkPaperClipxx Yesssssssss! That said, strictly come dancing is actually what dancing with the stars is based on, not the other way around ! Britain invented dancing with the stars lol britain rocks my socks !!! love all u british gorgeee people out ther mwah xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • How did this not get a perfect score?

  • What scores did they get for this? Deserved straight 10s

  • My GOD that footwork is unbelievable. xx

  • HOT

  • @wazzobazzo

I found it I found it.

    Thanks Thankzzz

  • Excuse me, anybody knows the name of this song?

  • @Pannarapee It sounds like "when doves cry"

  • @wazzobazzo Thankz, I have tried finding to download this song but I found different song from that Rachel and Vincent danced in Argentine Tango T-T

  • @Pannarapee It IS 'When Does Cry' Prince. :D

  • I absolutely loved this, and the chemistry is very good between them. I watched this in London, and really watched the series just because of these two dancers. I agree they should have won that series.

This is pretty much my all time favourite dance routine. I know Rachel isnt a professional dancer, but she did so well, I can imagine that she could do it if she wanted to. Very well done by her, and also Vincent for teaching her.

    Excellence all round.

  • Is this dancing with the stars In england? Idk cuz I'm in America. This is like an exact replica of the dancing with the stars stage!

  • @me5ts Yes, and the Dancing with the Stars stage will be a replica of this one :)

  • Comment removed

  • @me5ts

'Strictly come dancing' came first and was sold to the USA as 'dancing with the stars.' A lot shows in the US actually were created elsewhere e.g. American idol, who wants to be a millionaire etc are British creations. It works both ways though. As a kid I thought Wheel of fortune, family fortunes (family feuds) etc were British.

  • This was amazing, One of the best dances ever on strictly.

  • Great

  • Eso no es tango. El baile si, pero la musica no, por favor.

  • Er... tango? wtf with the music

  • pure heaven ....superb!

  • PROS!!!

  • Her eyes never leave his, she's smouldering...! I don't know how a professional would rate this technically, but as a layman I think the whole feel of this dance is amazing. They work so well together. I often watch this video and wish I could do it! :)

  • @slickyrickyuk when vincent showed his choreography to Flavia his pro partner who dance and are world champions this routine even she was blown away with the technical difficulty of it, and she should know, just watch Vincent and Flavia do the various versions of the Argentine Tango and you willl be blown away how rachel coped.

  • wrong music for a tango!!!!!

    wheres the tango????

  • WRONG...FUCKING...MUSIC. This offends me.

  • where is the Tango ????

  • He does all the work in this dance, and that is the problem

  • the foot-work between 0:23 and 0:28 is fantastic

  • Simply the best!!

  • @eze0303456 I'm simply saying there are two types of tango what they do on the show and I know the tango originated in Argentina but the two dances are different also there is a tango waltz but they don't dance it on SCD it's only been demonstrated by flavia and Vincent

  • FAV RACHEL DANCE!!!....

  • To me this was explosive and dramatic and smoldering and almost as good as a Vincent-Flavia number! The music choice was daring but worked perfectly.

  • still the 'reference' argentine tango when i want to compare any current tangos. rachel's is still the best

  • This looks like the same thing as Dancing with the Stars . . . my God when John Barrowman comes onto stage . . . he BETTER win baby!!

  • This is a technically difficult dance and Rachel coped with it extremely well. The problem with it is that it seems rather soulless, and the music didn't add any drama.

AT is the dance of love and passion and we weren't shown any of that.

  • Beautiful dance, but not keen on the music. I love to hear the traditional tango music.

  • @carox51 it's sang by prince and it doesn't have to be a tango song just as long as it has the right beat and FYI there are two types of tango: a ballroom tango and an Argentinian tango!!

  • @WoNdeReeR tango is argentian. ballroom tango sucks

  • Hi Youtubies, watch out for Stefan B 1. Ramba Samba, 2. Pa- Party 3. The beat , 4. Love Balloon, 5. Sex at the Party + Bass Mix, 6. Sex at the Party/ My babe Clubmix, 7 . Best of Octoberfest, 8.,Pa-Party storm hard mix , 8. Die Besten, 9. Dreier Song, 10. Sound Allround

Enjoy listening, take headphones, if you dont have good speakers.

  • this is not tango... they're spiting in argentina's face

  • @BorrachoPuto what do u mean?

  • pince= when doves cry

  • argentine tango? I live in buenos aires since birth and I have never heard that before. It sounds like a puerto rico boy singing in english

  • That music IS NOT TANGO!!! And there is no other tango but the argentinian tango.

  • Wish the stupid camera would stop dancing so I could watch the dancers themselves

  • @TheRealSaucyWench

    lol yeah

  • HOT AS HELL. SEX!

  • I have to say. There is only one reason I would ever watch this program and it's for the fucking legs.

  • I am not disagreeing with the caliber of the dancing. What I see I like. What I thought lacked was the music. From observing the clips of such dances, it always strikes me that those clips with more traditional music to the actual dance, rather than a contemporary song to draw an audience, do far better in overall presentation. I contend that the same choreography, accompanied by traditional music, is going to make an even better dance.

  • @wendallpaulsI know the 2 Argentine Tangos from strictly that have caught the publics imagination (this one and Mark and Karen's from 2006) were both danced to non traditional tango music.

Vincent marries the moves to the rhythm & beat of the music perfectly.

A mediocre AT danced to traditional music is still a mediocre AT just as a Outstanding AT danced to non trad music is still outstanding.

This is the best non pro AT Ive seen on DWTS or Strictly, but then its Vincent so it would be :-)

  • wow, awesome choreography. he should be on the american version of the show...

  • the song is when doves cry by prince

  • @xxrosaxx Thank You so so much :)

  • somebody know name of this song or artist????

  • @araleksandra I believe it's "When Doves Cry" by Prince.

  • Vincents shoes are the bombs man, makes the dance even better.

  • Amazing! These 2 are my favourite strictly couple ever!

  • this was very good.

  • I really feel the music ruined everything! Didn't give so much to the perfect dance!

  • @chocobreadpudding I got to agree. I checked this video out because another post suggested it in comparison to the Nicole Scherzinger Derek Hough Argentine Tango. The music definitely makes a difference. Traditional music to the dance is far better than something contemporary.

  • @wendallpauls Vincent Simone unlike Derek is an Argentine Tango master (2 times world champion) he knows this dance inside and out and backwards. He put Rachel through the ringer choregraphicaly admited he asked her to do things so difficult that he would give them to his pro partner Flavia (look her and Vincents dances up if you want to be blown away :-) ) Seems petty to nit pick over music when rachel mastered such difficult moves and for the most part made them look efortless This is stunning

  • @wendallpauls I totally agree as well. This was a nice AT as well. But traditional much is much better.

  • The music is not tango! I liked the dance anyway... but i was hoping music was tango!

  • @nacho615 Yes... The music is not tango...!!!!!

  • this dance is brilliant! But I must confess I was SHOCKED to find out that this is rachel stevens. She looks nothing like she looked back then in S Club 7 (I know it has been some time..) Although I dont like her very much, she does a brilliant job here

  • They were the best, and i keep watchin it everytime i log in to youtube, i dunno why hehe

im so sad that they didnt win :-(

  • Rachel could've been sharper; the ending was horrifying and completely ruined how great the dance was.

  • Hear this to the tune of A. Piazzolla's Zum and it suits it much better than this song. Great dance though. They both did very well on this.

  • Crazy good footwork love it!!

  • What a gorgeous dress!!!!!!!

  • the best i love vincent and rachel!

  • The dress and the dance are just beautiful.

  • As an Argentine, I'm surprised. That is not a typical music of tango, nor a traditional dance.

If you like that, I support you. But what they do is tango for tourists, not the true essence. Still, I support it.

  • @Eiche2k i´m of the same opinion, but its tango für viewers in front of the tv. and because of this they need to have a great show..

  • @Pat0307 hahaha so true...

  • > this was the best ARgentine tango ever on Strictly

    It is not Argentine tango.

  • wow! that was awesome! rachel stevens rocked it!

  • This set is almost the EXACT set of Dancing with the stars. DWTS needs to learn some originality.

  • this is amazing ...purely simply amazing....so erotic and passionate ...from the dance to the moves to the song ....

  • la base esta, falta la clase

  • So much better than Ricky and Natalie's or Mark and Karen's. I wish the judges wouldn't keep forgetting about how great Rachel was. Best dancer on Strictly ever.

  • To those who complain that it is not a tango without tango music, you must realize that this a BALLROOM Argentine Tango. It is about the underlying rhythm of the music being a tango rhythm, not about the actual music itself. That's why they switch up music. They need to have variety. And, it is also a challenge for the professionals.

  • y esa musica?!?! eso no es tango!

  • Not really tango music though

  • I dont care what the BBC says these two are first place , first class.

    The trophy was obviously bought.

  • The best Argentine Tango, apart from Vincent and Flavia's, ever performed on Strictly.

  • Is it Rachel from S Club 7?

  • Yes.

  • The Argentinian Tango without the accordions and traditional sounds don't do it for me.

  • Each to his/her own! It was the best Argentine Tango I have ever seen!

  • The steps are so intricate, very difficult!

  • y q paso con flavia?

  • lol i dont know much about dancing but this is brilliant!

  • Gosh - this was the best ARgentine tango ever on Strictly. I suppose you'd except something special given that it was Vincent - but wow - puts anything on this season pretty much to shame.

  • i disagree with some of the above comments, ive seen all the dancers dancing this dance, even as recent as ricky whittle on sat. but by far the best is vincent n rachel, without a doubt, how can the person say the choreography was a bunch of tricks, rubbish,it was the best,DARLING

  • I can't believe that people still talk about Mark's being the best Argentine (even on It Takes Two this week!). His had a great mood and for that point in time, it was really good. But Rachel's is a million times better. Ricky's was as well. Even, to an extent, I thought Chris Hollins' was better than Mark - it had better choreography, even if it did have the same performance standard.

  • absolutely rachel,it was the best.may i make another comment,i,m a drummer,n get very annoyed when, the band strikes up,the dancers start there dance, and then,THE AUDIENCE ,take it upon themselves to start clapping, out of sync and time.they clap on the 1,and the 3,of the bar, instead of ,on the 2,and the 4,then they clap louder than the band,it,s no wonder the celebs go out of time, but on a high note,.arn,t the band ,and singers, awesome, happy xmas .

  • The partnership of Rachel and Vincent is the best ever on Strictly Come Dancing, absolute perfection. It was a travesty she did not win.

  • @rexeric- yes Rachel was brilliant but for goodness sake, a travesty is a soldier dying in Afganistan, not a singer losing out on winning a saturday-night-entertainment ameuter dance competetion.

  • iluv Your soldier dying is a tragedy, not a travesty.

Travesty relating to the result of a competition means that it was a ridiculous result. So basically my view is that the best dancer should win and any other result is ridiculous, or a travesty. Rachel was the best dancer, so she should have won. Simples really.

  • I found this video because I wanted to see if anybody ever did the tango to what is, in my opinion, one of the best tango songs ever. I love the idea, and I was so glad to see that it actually has been done. These two performed the choreography very well; however, I did not like the choreography. It looked like a bunch of tricks thrown together without any real substance or story. Please don't call me a hater - I don't know either of the dancers well enough to love or hate them. That's JMO.

  • It's not a standard tango, but an ARGENTINE Tango, and I believe Vincent was a world champion.

  • @cbak12s argentine tango is just as worthy of the name "standard" as international/fantasia/ballroom, especially considering that the european styles arose from old argentine styles.

  • I get what you mean about their being no clear storytelling. As a stand alone dance, I still think it's very good but yeah, Craig would have normally made a similar comment I think!

  • Vincent is amazing at this!!!

  • rachel is awesome!!

  • she is amazing.. she and aleysha rock ballroom dancing

  • rachel stevens was sooooo good and this was amazing and such a complicated routine !!!!!!! its was vincent and favia's style!!! and rachel looked like a PRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this dance, you can totally feel the chemistry between rachel and vincent! One of the rare occascions the band didn't mess up the song either! bravo!

  • Such a difficult dance. They make it look so easy! I would LOVE to dance a argentine tango with Vincent! And Rachel looks fantastic, I love her dress.

  • She looks amazing

  • FANTASTIC!

  • I love her dress.

  • Love these two dancing just perfect two little people like me! wish I could dance like that just so good they make it look so easy and I know it's not !!

  • The music always sucks when they do tango on Television. they always use a crappy pop song or some electrotango without the soul.

He looks like hes itching to break out into a samba or salsa.

  • Luisa Lyndon!!!!!!!!!

  • i love this best thing on tv ever i wanna learn it

  • Its the actual orchestra preforming the song and a guy singing to the beat

  • can anyone tell who's singing this melody....i've searched for prince, but it's not the same voice....and prince does't sing with that women on background......so?thx:*

  • All of the dancing shows like Strictly have their own musicians and singers to perform the songs. You could check the BBC and see if they tell you.

  • I'm guessing the male voice is Tommy Blaize. The music is all performed live by Dave Arch's band - just google "strictlycomedancing band" and you'll get all the info you want ;o)

  • awesome:X

  • wow

  • Rachel Stevens to Natalie Cassidy dear dear poor old vincent.

  • I agree pipermaru I do beleive I am blushing

  • did I get a thumb down because I spelt believe wrong?

  • I love him at 1:16!

  • simply stunning

  • amazing

  • How Camila Dallerup and Tom Chambers won this series is a mystery to me. I remember there was a major cock-up with the voting and three got through to the final instead of two.

  • Because in the final they decided to let the voters have the final say and more people liked Tom than Rachel. It's ridiculous though, I liked Tom but Rachel deserved to win :l

  • Vincent was in a 10 year relationship with another professional daner on the show! ? At the time of this seasons of strictly. They broke up and met another girl who is now the mother of his son. but they are not together. LOVE VINC with LOUISA though!

  • Are you kidding me? Vincent is a world champion Argentine Tango dancer, I think he knows how to choreograph it properly.

  • Brilliant!! I was surprised they didnt get full marks for this, especially as Vincent is the world expert!!

  • THIS IS MY FAVEORITE!

  • this is VERY good ...

to me they dance as if they had never practice this song....just feel the music and let their bodies dance to the rythm and the lyrics.....so perfect.....

  • they have soo much chemistry, i think they were without a doubt the best dancers on the show that series, just incredible.

  • They're not, they're calling it the Argentine Tango. :]

  • This dance was so amazing - Mark and Karen's is the only Argentine Tango that beats it!

  • God, they were so fabulous together! :) Amazing partners, their chemistry really shone through their dancing and gave their performances such new life and such fantastic emotion!

    I miss them together! :(

I also think that Rachel was a better dancer than Tom, although both were immensely talented and strong, I do believe she excelled from him.

It was such a shame her final dance didn't have enough "razzle-dazzle". :(

  • amazing!

  • my fave version on the argentine tango :)

  • that's was amazing but i still think tom should have won and am glad he did (:

  • God that band is terrible :(

  • well it's better than the band on dancing with the stars

  • BRILLIANT !!!

  • She should have won!! She outscored Tom every single time!!

  • Why did someone give this a negative? Sooo true, the dance-off is meant to stop this sort of thing from happening, if Tom was a dead cert to go from the final three then so be it, he should have gone... I knew from the moment he was through that neither of the girls had a chance...

  • this is superb dancing,it seems there feet are just floating on the dancefloor.brilliant"""

  • this is so good for an AT that it feels the legs of both Rachel and Vincent have a brain on their own ....

    JUST perfect

  • What brain dead morons at the BBC put these clips up without the judge's comments, which surely is part of the fun and the point of watching these clips.

A real bottom feeder must have thought of that one.

  • omg this woman is so beautiful it's surreal

  • i dont get tired of watching this!!!

  • I love doing his dance

  • Listen to the words as well as the music, that is why it is powerful. It is wonderful when you put the words, music and dancing together.

  • very true!!!

  • rachel dances like a pro!! im a ballroom dancer and i must say she is amazing considering the time she has and the experience she has. she is a better tango dancer than me!!

  • i love this dance

  • She should have won!!

  • holy shit did we steal this from england like we did idol?

  • Yes,yes you did =D

  • yeah man! england's has the bestest original ideas when it comes to tv programmes. Go Team England!!!! :D :D :D

  • agh I'm jealous of rachel, Vincent is so attractive!!

  • They certainly have the look of passion on their faces, but the music completely ruins it. Beautiful performance with the wrong song.

  • Gotta remember that this is a competition involving celebrities who have either little or no argentine tango/ ballroom dance experience, and that they learn these routines in the space of a week. Of course, this dance is nowhere near the standard of other tango performances on youtube but I still think it is a pretty good effort considering those fact
