I've watched this video a lots. I was born and raised in Colorado, but after seeing how much Edmonton loves Ryan, it made me proud of all Edmonton. I want to spend some time there now if I can, get to know the Oilers and the city. The hardest part was seeing his wife crying, you could tell that she didn't want to leave, that neither her nor Ryan ever properly prepared themselves to have to leave.

Leafs fans should watch this. Seeing them boo Sundin (the greatest player in their franchises history) yesterday shows their true colors and made me sick. This is how real fans should act, they should have given Sundin a formal salute as well, but they booed him like a bunch of turds.

I was AT the leaf game and they gave him video tribute and 2 minute standing ovation. Sundin said it was going to be one of the greatest moments in his life. he even cried. A few people booed when he got the puck so what. Overall they showed him the greatest respect.

The thing I hate the most out of all of this is that Ryuan didn't win a cup as an Oiler. Not because I would love it as an Oiler fan, but because I know it would have meant so much to him. I wish so much that we would have won agasin't Carolina. Not for us, the fans, but for him. Cause I know it would have been a great achievment for him.
In any case, I'll be cheering for Colorado whenever they hit the playoffs. Ryan, you have my support.

I've watched this video a lots. I was born and raised in Colorado, but after seeing how much Edmonton loves Ryan, it made me proud of all Edmonton. I want to spend some time there now if I can, get to know the Oilers and the city. The hardest part was seeing his wife crying, you could tell that she didn't want to leave, that neither her nor Ryan ever properly prepared themselves to have to leave.
