  • lol Renault and Nissan cars can drive with electric power and mercedes, audi and bmw still drive by gasoline power. Which are the more modern companys now? :)

  • tesla is already on the market since 4 years now, but i'm happy that finally, also a big company as renault, is starting to leave petrol cars, using petrol cars in 2010 is the same to continue to use oil lamps and steam trains, when you can use elettrics light and trains

  • No exhaust pipe, eh? So what happens if I run out of juice nowhere near an electric source to recharge the car? Or what happens if I ran out of juice and don;t have 4-7-10 hours to recharge the batteries again?

    Stupid idea, sorry...

  • yeah but hummers.. stupid american

  • finally, thanks Renault!

  • there are a lot of people that don't care about polution but they do care about chep travel so if this electric cars will cost less to drive than they will be a definit hit :D I would buy one

  • @gagi600 Indeed! Well said.

  • I'll believe it when it hits the streets

  • It will be in 2011

  • Like I said "I'll believe it when it hits the street". Most electric cars I've seen look like glorified golf cards and most people won't go for it although they should. I'd hate to be hit by a 16 wheeler in one of these, they'll need to be safer to get them to catch on.... these cars are a great start... good luck to Renault for dreaming my dream a house with solar panels on the roof an electric car in every garage and the end to the oil cartel.
