I love this scene because it's the only time I've seen Tarzan's first words and he doesn't sound like a complete dumb ass, just like someone who knows very little of the language.
I really loved this movie. However, on the whole Tarzan talking thing...its kind of impossible. As good as he was at mimicking, it is scientifically impossible for a man who grew up like Tarzan did to ever be able to talk in any kind of human speech.
But that's ok, Disney doesn't have to be right, just fun.
sometimes what i do is trace over the original drawing when im animating on paper cuz trust me i had the excat same problem i just trace it and where the change may be i make that change in the frame
This is one of the reasons I love the special editions on DVD. I love watching these things, I hope to become an animator for Disney one day, or make cartoons for them.
Hahaha. YEAH! :D OMG. This scene is the funniest and most non-sexual in Disney history of ever. Disney is always so... adultiated if you know what I mean? But hit is pure innocence.
I think this is because she's talking at the moment, maybe so she won't look to "storyboard-ish", also notice the circles on her checks. I think that is to show where the red/blush on her checks go, I heard it off the beauty and the beast DVD. Are these from the special edtion released some time ago?
perhaps..I was thinking that it was the work of two different animators and they drew on each other's frames for syncronizing purposes. Like when Tarzan and Jane overlap sometimes. Really though, I'm not sure.
why did whoever animated jane number the in-betweens I wonder

I find Tarzan's jittery movements amusing.

amazing how fluid to animation is. My animations are always "wobbly". I gotta learn how they can keep the lines so still...

u guys are using a grid right?
Monochrome89 2 years ago
Use tracing paper, and then scan it into a computer over normal paper. You can edit it so it's more fluid once you have it in the computer.

Tarzan's pretty skilled at mimicking sounds.

True - he also has a high IQ; he learns very quickly.

Jane seems to be in Clean-Up animation, does that mean she was animated before Tarzan?
maxime430 5 years ago
Sorry, I was wrong, Jane is really in rough animation, the animator only draws in a cleaner way(even if she still looks a bit rough...)
