The Quality and tone of your voice is really great. And beautiful. You just need to work on those high notes and really let them rip. I think perhaps you were being possibly a bit noise-conscious when hitting the high ones but i think you could do them amazingly if you just really projected your voice outwards...The sound is there just maybe need a bit of work on the technicalities. Perhaps no more late night practices and a little more during the day so you can just let those high notes flow.

Do you take lessons? I think you at the stage that you need to get a teacher that can direct you the right place, for your vocal progress. Its a lovely rendition, but you are singing what alot of people call "up and over the voice" you need to ground it and sing with your body. There is a complete difference, Does anybody else agree with me that she needs to support her high notes much better?

The reason she can't "touch" the high notes is because she is singing them with her throat and isn't using the right breath support. Mezzos should be able to get the high A-flats just as well as sopranos if they're breathing correctly. Her vocal color could be either mezzo or soprano right now, though it does sound a little closer to mezzo-soprano. However, she is just 20 years old...her voice could change in the next few years.

Maybe it's the neighbors, but you should really work on the projection and as any opera pupil should know, Larynx down with the high note. Think resonance and larynx down. But good legato. I'm learning this one too :)
