I enjoy The Rock's movie's and his wrestling career was a huge part of my childhood but I have to say this. Doom fucking sucked as a movie the only good part was the FPS scene near the end. I know there is alot of Doom fans would agree with me as Doom was one of the first FPS games and a landmark in the gaming industry. So obviously the fans expect this amazing movie as good as the game only to have bought a cinema ticket etc then to get fucked in the face by how awful the movie was.

They should have announced part 2 was already in the making upon the release of the first one..like have a preview of the second one at the end of the first one or something..doom fans would then get their nut off for sure..this movie was Bad fuckin ass, they need to make part 2 end of story son.

Of course, some of it is not true.. Don't be too exact. The movie just gives you an experience of what its sorta like... So, stop complaining. Not all of the baddies where in there, just the simple basic commons ones. But it was awesome to have the thrill when seeing it the first time. I'd say it was and still is pretty good movie. Although It does need some improvement.

I like how people are completely ignoring the Knight with the Chainsaw, or that there were a few demons in there. Sure there were mostly zombies, but they just take the place of the possessed commanders from the original DooMs (AND there were zombies in DooM 3). What I'M wondering is WHERE WERE THE LOST SOULS!?

i thought the movie was enjoyable. i was pissed off over the fact that it concerned a viral outbreak instead of a hellish invasion, BUT if i ignore that startling difference, it wasn't that bad. hey, at least they had the BFG and the shit load of violence.

i'm totally fine with adding more guys, though. one lone space marine might make a good game, but for a movie, there needs to be dialogue. you can't exactly have dialogue with only one guy.
