My daughter is getting married in Fredericksburg October 23 2010, the reception is at the Hangar hotel...do you have pilot that will take couples on a flight around the area...possible a 1940 bomber...and an old vintage car to carry the birde and groom to the church and back...?
Risky? Yes. That's why pilots need to get the word out about this place. I'v been a pilot for 4 years now and I never knew this place existed. I have yet to meet anyone here in DFW area that has heard of Gillespie (T82). We must get the word out so this place will survive. I will visit in March. I'll take video and post it when I do.
Im based out of Killeen at Brazos Helicopters and 3 other vetran pilots I knew recommended I fly down in the the airplane and check it out for lunch. I did and I really enjoyed it but do plan on bringing company next time! Thanks again! Drew.

Next time you go to The Hangar Hotel do bring your family and spend the night. That Hotel is beautiful and the rooms are decorated in true blue WW2 details! My husband and I just love that place!
