i live in chattanooga which is 2 hours from gatlinburg and this is exactly why my family and i travel 8 hours to snowshoe, wv where they have REAL snow and not fake ice stuff. but if you have no where else to go and if you don't like to get cold when you ski then come here.
no backcountry skiing there i guess :P
