  • I have an 05 version of this. I thought it was my dream bike but I dont really like it now that I have it.

  • nice bike mate

  • Now that you have your exhaust system, you should save some money for a helmet. Dumbass.

  • oh give him a break he went around the block, stop worrying about everyone else so much, get off the computer and ride.

  • thanks for the keen observation. you probably also observed the blinker was from my right turn at the stop light. just too lazy to cancel the signal and flick the left in the 15ft from the sign to the driveway :)

  • hu! didnt think of it that way

  • lol , it revs up like my ex :( crx vtec!

    nice bike, but wear helmet!!

i am going to buy 07 VFR soon :)

  • Does titanium corrode?

  • I won't say any metal won't corrode, but Ti is naturally resistant to corrosion.

    ...So no :)

  • my dad had the exact bike but in red with micron mufflers it sounds so buitiful to bad he had to sell it

  • Hey Mr Knoxville

I dont know about prices in USA, but I bought myself a Micron exhaust for my VFR800 (2001) in carbon and I paid only 125€ (pipe+exhaust).

If u want I can have a look for yours as well...

  • That micron sounds awesome but out of my pricerange, I'm gettin the staintune. I have an 01 though, last of the Gear Driven cam models. All VTechs had chain driven cams.

  • yours will cost a bit less because its a single muffler with standard placement. My system cost ~$800 because is was a 3/4 system full Ti with 2 underseat mufflers.

  • I can't tell from the sound whether I like it better than my 2002 VFR with a Staintune exhaust. I do love the sound of the v four though.

  • I would have rather had an '02. They still had gear drive, right? Ah that sweet gear whine. My current ride, 06 Speed Triple, is gear-driven as was my previous, an 03 SV. Never knew how much i loved that sound til it was gone ;)

    Staintunes sound great, btw.

  • Ack, mine's an 03 also. I just thought that all 03s were red. I've got a short video on here if you look under my name, my 3 year old and I riding.

  • Sounds like a crappy tractor.

I'd take the original muffler any day.

  • Yeah, so would you're mom.

  • You must have fuckin rocks in your head kid. Everyone loves the VFR with an exhaust. People that don't are either gay, in the closet or like scooters. Which one are you?

  • I Recognize you from a bar in Blue Springs.I also recently bought an 03' VFR. Small world is'nt it? HAPPY RIDING. B.

  • you may have me confused, friend.

i do go to bars, but never been to Blue Springs.

    happy riding to you too!

  • right indicator, turn to left. One careful owner.

  • not sure what you're talking about.

there was about 20 feet from the turn to the driveway.

no time to cancel the signal, let alone indicate the left .

    go boink yourself or something.

  • Sorry Man, you got more than 20 feet to cancel your signal in the vid. Anyhoo, love bike, I've had two of them. And now, following your suggestion, I'm off to Boink myself! :P

  • Oh, soz, your exhaust does indeed sound sweet!

  • My mate rode his bike round the block one day without his helmet, as it was just a short ride. He got knocked off his bike. Guess what.. He's just learning to write his name again... He generally wore his helmet too.

  • Sweet exhaust buddy! p.s. the dumbarse that posted "where's your helmet" doesn't even own a bike.

  • Pudwerx: for comparison on how it sounds on the computer., you can check my video I agree that these sound bassier. I like them, although I'm not sure whether I would be willing to spend the money for a change in tone... how much did you pay for them, can I ask?

    Nice video, though.

  • i stole them from streetfighters-usa for about $400 less than they're worth. Pricing error on their website :) The system cost me $700 and it's full titanium from the cat to the end of the muffler.

    Very good sound.

    THE BIKE IS SOLD! WOO-HOO!

  • Where's your helmet stupid?

  • now that's very polite.

it isn't very easy to offer a narrative with a helmet. but don't you worry your pretty little head, i'm one of the most avid helmet users you will find.

  • TBH somehow this doesn't sound much different than the original exhaust.

  • really? are you listening with decent speakers?

these are way bassier than stock. stock sorta sounded like a sewing machine to me.

it is always hard to judge sound with internet clips.

  • Maybe you are right!
