isn't windsheld tinting illegal in ohio? i have 20% backs and 35% front 2 windows (i know...talkin about illegal and i'm rolling w/ "illegal" front door windows) and i'm thinkin of going to 20% on the front 2 and a 35% strip on the windshield, but i'm seeing everyone doing the whole windshield
@letemrip32 well this isn't your average windshield tint. its a super light (80%) heat reflective film. you hardly even know its there unless someone tells you its there. if you look at my tint mustache video i have it on my 2 front doors as well as the windshield. most people that tint there windshield are just going for the look of it. i don't recommend tinting a whole windshield but don't go any darker than 35% and a windshield strip is only practical if its 5%
@TintStuff Ignore my last comment...i didn't see your home page on here...how would i get started in the tinting industry? do i just have to do it by trial and error on my own car first and show shops what i can do?
@letemrip32 a good way to start is get a roll of cheap film and practice on your own car. offer to tint friends cars as well. sometime you can find shops that are short handed and offer to help out in trade for training or even get hired as a trainee. also if you can afford it go to a tint school. they could always give you a jump start on becoming a tinter.
