  • goooooog will be held in everyones hand. turn that upside down and you have the g=6 oooooo=6 and g=6. Eric Schmidt is the next anticrist.

  • Eric Schmidt for President!

  • this is probably one of the best comments i have ever reed in my life on youtube

  • Ironic that they're talking openness in an area that is known for outright exclusion. An area that would be quite fitting for those from the Stanford background. The only openness is the sky, which would be bought to exclusion if possible.

Google just keeps on shooting themselves in the foot.

    Progress, maybe.

    Freedom, not at Aspen.

  • I attended this conference and Schmidt's presentation. The conference participants provided numerous viewpoints from all levels of government, from highly respected academicians and many business executives. It was a fantastic conference where many opinions were explored about the various topics. One of my businesses is writing reports on conferences. If you are interested, you can find out more in the conference report available at PraxisReports or watch other discussions on the PFF site.

  • So I'm watching Eric talk about "free markets and free minds" and keep the government hands off of business and the internet, and people are surprised that Google might back a conservative think tank?

  • keep up the good work google!

  • good times

  • I like Google but I like them less after seeing their association with this "think tank" full of Reaganites. I looked on their website and they are a bunch of people from Heritage and the Reagan admin and did not see a single Democrat. For shame, Google. Don't get involved in partisanship. Don't be evil.

  • If you note the background of the area, it fits well with Google's exclusionary background. What better place for Google to speak than somewhere that excludes like they do.

You'd be hard pressed to find inclusion in Aspen, let alone try to find ethics or hard work save for (maybe) a couple of folks in the snowboarding community.

Next time, they'd do well to speak in more accessible venues, not billionaire hideaways.

  • Yes! Google Agrees!!! Keep it open to everyone and not fuckin censored!

  • keep the innovation walking!

  • brilliant! google ought to buy offshore and build the google continent !
