Or in other words, quoting my previous post: 'you'.
Just read more info where it suggested you were sorry for beeping the horn. Sorry to get at you about that at least you have reconized it was wrong. I disagree with reason 2. Even though she had gone through green light You still need to check at junctions and if the view is restricted you would need to slow down. I do agree she was hesitant. she was right to slow down to see but not to completely stop if the junction was open. e.g had a good view both sides.
Yes I was sorry for using my horn, though probably the drivers behind weren't. I will usually give myself a slap on the wrist for doing this.
You're right about the lady being right to approach with caution as you never know when someone may be taking a gamble, but of course she stopped completely and was probably unsure as what to do.
1st Fault Steering and lane disipline the driver veered to the right hand side of road approaching traffic lights. 2nd fault position for turning Right. she should have positioned just left of centre. Confirming her signal with her road position. 3rd fault Hesitation emerging from junction. I could tell that by the fact you beeped your horn. Beeping the horn like that was illegal for you to do because you were stationery. and You should only use horn to warn of your presence. Not to bully.
Hmm.. Technically there is only supposed to be one vehicle at the junction as there is only one lane painted. You'd also have your view blocked by her if youtried to squeeze through (2 lane junctions are angled for visibility)
Yes that is true, but as the junction is wide enough for two cars common sense generally puts the driver in the direction they want to go in. Some limited visability of course, but we know that in many cases the roads aren't designed that well, following an arbitary rule doesn't make for better driving.
There are a few rules of driving that need breaking for better driving, and that gives me a video idea.
Common sense??? when does that ever take a part on the roads these days?
People these days seem to be taught a series of steps and procedures to pass a driving test and sadly, once having passed it, so many never seem to progress beyond this.
