honestly the housing system is kinda bad, the p2p chineese perfect world server without genies and tideborn etc has it, and its not great, only 5 types of houses...

also perfect world bejing isnt working on it anymore, and it will never be put into pwi or any other server.

if u want housing system check out shenmo (forsaken world).

I heard that the housing-thing was only in the original Perfect World. The took it out when they released the International version. But they didn't take out everything...like when you do your World Quest, and you sometimes get random items in your bag that sells for 5k, those items were for the housing system...they just forgot to take them out of the game...

i think it is very likely there will be houses added to PWI in the future. I have reason to believe this becuase if you go to an island near the north east corner of the map, you will see a man just standing there. If you talk to him there is three options: about homeland, construction skill, and furniture maker (all three say unavailable now). If you don't believe me, guys name is Lu Pan and the coordinates are (688, 796).

International will -never- have it. They are cheap bastards that wont even add refinement transfer stones because they see it as a loss of profit.

Not to mention they are holding back a lot of aerogears, mounts, and fashions so they can spring them on people and make big bling. I would think they fact that they keep putting Anniversary packs back in the boutique would make it obvious how greedy they are.

The reason why, and PWI has further enforced this theory that they do not want to pay for the cost of extra maps running that don't have to hence why FBs have a 4 hour reset timer. It costs them money and dispite making loads of it they are unwilling to supply players with it.

I heard the Mal' version that had it as p2p, when they changed over to ftp they removed it.

The 'useless' junk you get from WQ is stuff for this, the only thing missing is the 'Villa Ownership Certificate'

@DRLOUIES Resets were added simply to kick people that were afking in instances. You can reset an instance without waiting for the reset simply by reforming a squad with a new party leader.

And it costs them money because the villa maps are large, complex and random so each unique map a player makes must be saved on the server. Which costs space, as well as bandwidth when the player is actually using it. This costs more money than something static like an FB instance.

And yes they did add them only in a manor thats rediculously expensive and only because of Nirvana. Anything lower than +9 costs more to transfer than to make with orbs.

They feed off the players addiction and instead of using the profits to build a nicer playground for the players, they throw it in something else totally unrelated to the game or gameplay. Most mmos start out awesome to draw you in, then they turn into profit motivated monsters.

Perfect World Beijing already announced that housing will not be released anymore. It was released for the PAY 2 PLAY Chinese version (not Malaysian), but after the Chinese version went Free 2 Play they removed it.
