@muumikuu engine braking characteristics are not changed. the only things that can change that are compression ratio or engine displacement relative to the weight of the car and gear ratios.
@ermir6 ebay and a bit of gauge-cluster dis-assembly. its a great little project that i highly recommend for anyone who wants to subtly improve the interior of their e36.
@ivantnt26 for this to work i think you need the clutch, flywheel and pressure plate. better get some new flywheel bolts just for safety too. there are a few flywheel options and a bunch of guides online.
@ivantnt26 haha, i totally agree. for some reason, they look really bangin' on the e36 and just average on the e46. i think the e36 is better suited to 17s whereas the e46 needs 18"+
I love my E36 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 9.4HP in the 328i. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:
super video buddy,I want lighter flywheel than you for my 325i e36 coupe.Increasing of rev is like a motorcycle.CAn you make a video by drive, changing gears and breaknig "by engine"
How is the handling now? if u let gas pedal up, does it start slow down more faster?

@Cornalmullin apparently you didn't actually read my answer. or possibly what the question even was. either way, read them again.

also does this affect engine smoothness at all?
Shadowpillar 1 year ago
@Shadowpillar good question, and not at all. it still runs like stock. it's not a super-light racing flywheel, it still has a bit of mass to it.
gripracer 1 year ago
@gripracer
what all did you have to get to make it work?
Shadowpillar 1 year ago
any guides on how to do this?
any special parts?
do you need the whole clutch, or will just the flywheel work?
Shadowpillar 1 year ago
so this flywheel fits with no modifications at all ?
