P.S: could you integrate the bands name EURYTHMICS into the film title so that THEY appear also when people watch the clip on myspace? would be great...
This video makes me long for London. Such a beautiful job. I know I've watched this a dozen times now since you first posted it and it still mesmerizes me. A perfect meld of the brilliant Eurythmics and those dark skies over the capital after the Buncefield fire.
I finally saw 9 1/2 weeks about a week or so ago and was completely blown away when I heard this song. Not to mention, the scene in which it was included made amazing use of it.
Whoever made this particular time lapse movie had the right idea choosing this song; it's perfect for driving around downtown among empty streets and just soaking in the beauty and surrealism of the night. Very well done.
im with arkady63 on this comment! i know how it feels to pass the love of your life as a stranger on the street in the rain ........an not look bk just incase!when i play this song i can look back as much as i like stop a stare , an il leave my comment there .
My first GF and I LOVED 9 1/2 weeks - these songs were the soundtrack to the wildest first time experiments in our lives! This song sounds best late at night with candles burning hot wax, warm spring breezes, and the sweet smells of sweat and desire. The beat gives you the feeling of entering an unknown world, and the undergound train is your transoportation to hidden pleasures. Thanks for the flashback!
This is without a doubt the sexiest most sensual song the Eurythmics ever recorded with a soft but aggressive eeriness to it Whatta classic tune this is!!
This song has a sensual eeriness to it, it's been a long time since I've heard it and like always..............INCREDABLE!!!!!! nice to see I'm not alone!
You want a comment? You got it! The film 9 1/2 Weeks was in cinemas...this song was on the soundtrack...
A sweltering August 1987 in Paris where half the city was thankfully away on holiday...an affair between a man & woman who both knew it had to end come autumn...
This was the song they made love to night after painful night...never talking and never seen together in public.
When the rains of September came, they passed each other on the streets like strangers.
kind of haunting... very neat, wild lighting. Where did you put the camera? This sort of roaming video might work cool around sunset where the sun is visible. Like a mobile time lapse!
It was a digibeta camera, fitted to the bonnet of a car. That's why the noise is awful, it's just taken from the on cam mike. I wish I'd added a wildtrack before I posted it. I suppose I could post it again!
Yes, I've always loved this song, it's really haunting. I'd wanted to find some visuals to put with it for a long time, and felt that it suited this material!
Excellent work.
