  • weird

shouldn't you ppl be playing some hymns or something

  • Your comments KILLED me. Oh my god, I'm still laughing.

  • The tone quality, balance and overall performace were amazing. However, the tuning was a bit off.

  • this was good. we played this and 1 other song at a concert and this sounds xactly how we played it. gud job!

  • This was really nice!!Congrats to all in the band! I'm playing the first March (from the beginning to 4:14)for an audition and I'm having some real difficulty in playing the 6/8 part on flute. If anyone has any tips i would be extremly grateful. Thank you!

  • I was one of the bassoonists! Yay for the farting bedpost, hehe. And yes i agree, it's foul when you get a beginner but when you get a really good player it's a gorgeous instrument.

  • Oh that is so true. I also play the bassoon and I used to be in a band with an amateur. Even had a plastic bassoon. The tone quality was reprehensible! Good job here, but i think you could have played out a bit more. Bassoons aren't one to be repressed!

  • well it is good to see someone besides myslef in a band playing bassoon. pain in the butt instrument i must say though. its beautiful once you get the hang of it. But I have to say bari sax and clarinet in jazz band are still my 2 favorites to play... i will never leave jazz or my sax and clarinet hanging alone. My band has a performance tomorrow and we are playing this. I will try to upload it.

  • ok 2 things...blend and upper woodwinds...especially upper woodwinds...ouch

  • god u r all snobs this bnd does great!

  • he probably made it up..lol

  • One on the kettle drums really? Cuz for this piece, the kettle drums is only needed for the 2nd movement and you guys did not play the 2nd movement

  • no we had one person on the kettle drums and the other on the usual drums (Im not a percussionist!).

  • Bravo to the lower brass... That's the way that part of the piece should be played... And yes, please tune the upper woodwinds, especially the oboe... And you guys should get more percussionists... Haha... i could tell the percussion part was played by one person on the drumset(I'm a percussionist)... Is that right?...

  • thanks for comments. Great to see the low brass getting compliments !!(says the euph player!)

  • my comments:

Tune up your upper woodwinds. They were sharp about 20-30 cents.

Great trumpet solo. But be more connective.

    Awesome low brass sound.

Horns need to come "to the fore" a bit more in some sections. (Grainger speak)

    watch the conductor for time.

Great performance of the first movement. Didnt have time to listen to 3rd.

  • here are some coments:

watch the notes on the begining first two measures to be exact

the trumpet solo has to quiet down just a tad...

you guys did awsome on the three six time...i dont have the music in front of me anymore

tho keep in mind that the three six time is a jig their fore making the notes shorter and not so connected

as for the third movement, the trumpets need to be louder & use vibrato

WOOH...go trombones! they rule on the third movement

    other players good job
