  • what u said isnt true its not stcky or greasy at all. it absorbs into my skin soo easily it feels like nothing ur either puttin to much or its just your own oils that are greasy and sticky

  • The problem is, non-comedogenicness isn't FDA tested so a product can say that it is but it could be a lie.

  • so I've noticed for myself, that when i do put lotion on areas of my skin where i'm more susceptible to getting acme, i will then get acme, but if i don't put moisturizer on my susceptible parts i wont get acme at all. but i do put moisturizer on the less susceptible parts of my face and i'm fine. is that what i should be doing?

  • @Rawrbobbiona sorry to hear that - no it doesn't clog pores, it's noncomedogenic! thanks for watching

  • If you use the cleanser rinse for oily skin before you use the lotion, the lotion wont feel as greasy and sticky.

  • any1 know about physiogel??

coz i got confused which one is better cetaphil or physiogel?

    i got mild acne..

  • I have Clean & Clear Moisturizing lotion-oil free with salicylic acid, can I mix that together with the cetaphil moisturizer?

  • is this lotion oil free?

  • You should aim for natural moisturizers...like jojoba oil or argan or tamanu oil. All those oils have been proven to reduce acne. I would google them and do some research in case...you have any doubts. But they're really amazing. I noticed a diffrence right away.

  • ur skin is shiny mayb thats a prob

  • my aunt whos 68 yrs old used cetaphil for years and years and years and she looks 20 yrs younger. she also has nice skin, and her pores are amazing not visible!! when she told me she only used cetaphil, i immidiately bought them. my skin felt so soft, not much pimples and pores are starting to shrink.

  • @otherbaby ...hello there, i wanna know which one do you use there are several different cetaphil

  • @michellelux88 - i have the cleanser and moisturizing cream. i use it after i shower in the morning... lukewarm water then rinse with cold water to seal the pores.

then at night too.. same thing.

  • I have a 20 fl. oz. bottle of this stuff i use it for the summer and it is amazing it doesn't burn your eyes and it reliefs sun burn i have sun burn now and i apply very little and it helps make it not burn a lot. i would give it 4.5 stars because it is a tad bit greasy.

  • cetaphil did not cure acne...cetaphil is very to moisturized your skin...like if you use as daily lotion on your body because i am using it for years for my 2 kids which is my pediatrician recommend it....if you want some brand that can cure acne try PROACTIVE it works really good....

  • So does Cetaphil help get rid of acne? Because I am using AcneFree right now (its not working) and my dr told me to switch to Cetaphil, but i am scared lol

  • @alyssaroney Hey! It does not get rid of acne unfortunately. It just helps moisturize your skin if you're using acne treatments cuz those treatments can be so DRYING. Ugh

  • @duciaciao Thanks. I was just wondering because my doctor told me that I only need something to clean my pores... I guess I will stay on AcneFree even though I would rather just use a simple cleaning product, not a 3 step acne solution

  • @alyssaroney AcneFree only worked for a little bit and then it really damaged my skin and made it really sensitive, so much so I had to go to a dermatologist. So be careful : ( .. I found out products with tea tree oil are so good at fighting acne and way less irritating than benzoyl peroxide! I use a facial cleanser that worked very well, and tea tree oil is the second ingredient. (and i moisturize with evening primrose oil, which is anti-inflammatory and fights acne bacteria) good luck <3

  • @cherriesandwine Hmm. I didn't like AcneFree at all. Yes, I think it definitely damaged my skin than good! I am going to a dermatologist, and I really think it's helped me with my acne... Not so much for the redness. Maybe I should do a video about the products I'm currentlyusing. I really using the Purpose cleanser! Thanks so much for your luck, and I wish you the best of luck too!

  • cet-a-phil

  • @MiZzDeeRoCkZ

YEA, this is pretty greasy. I only suggest wearing it at night time cause I would not DARE to wear this during daytime. I think it would be a pretty good moisturizer for night time.

Eucerin is great, too! It's thicker but it's not as greasy. It didn't relieve any "immediate" redness if you're aiming for that.

  • I have used the eucerin and I hate that it doesn't really work well on dry spots, it doesn't absorb well and my biggest complain it leaves a white cast on the face(feels more like a sunscreen vs moisturizer) does the cetaphil leave your skin white?

  • I used Eucerin at night time only. I use SPF stuff during the day. It can lead a white film over the face if I don't spread the moisturizer evenly.

The Cetaphil doesn't cause the Cetaphil is more watery than the Eucerin. The only complain is that it's greasier than the Eucerin - probably because of the vegetable oils in it.

  • eucerin is really thick. i think it works better on really dry skin.have u tried the CeraVe lotion? its light and sinks in well.

  • I liked the texture for the eucerin, but I haven't tried cerave lotion. I saw it in the drugstores, too. I was going to try it as my next moisturizer venture as it seems to be great for sensitive skin. Thxxx for your suggestion~

  • @kaaythoj916 it irritated my eyes too. my eyes get itchy and i keep rubbing them, so i stopped using it.

  • @kaaythoj916 That's sooo weird!

I have no problem when I put it near my eyes (even where the :"puffiness" of the eyes begin). Could it be that area is sensitive to the lotion since the eye area is pretty delicate? My eyes burn only when I put aloe vera gel near my eyes because the aloe vera is the "cousin" plant to the onion !!~ (it stings for about 30 seconds, and that's it). Hope you're okay!

  • I have very oily, sensitive, fair skin and am also very familiar with Cetaphil products, which I love. The lotion is "ok" but tends to break me out a bit. I started using the cream, the stuff in the big tub, as a cold cream, washing it off with a warm washcloth and that definitely is better for my skin. No breakouts and my skin is soft. No need for an additional moisturizer.

  • @realwoman50 That's what another YT user said...that the cream is better. I have no idea why though. I haven't used the cream before.

  • can u use it for your face too?? can u put it under ur makeup???

  • Hi !

Yes you can put it on your face. It's a great moisturizer for basic skin care. And yes it can be put under makeup - so that your foundation/concealer doesn't look cakey! Make sure you don't put a lot because it's pretty greasy. Hope that helps.

  • I just bought the cetaphil, because it's winter. The neutrogena products dont work for me either, but the lotion I mentioned is the only lotion I can use in the summer. The full name of the clearasil stuff is Clearasil Stayclear Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream. The active ingrediant is 10%benzoyl peroxide.

  • I have VERY OILY skin and the best lotion I have found for my acne prone/ Super greasy face is Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion. Also I use a thin layer of Clearasil Invisible Treatment at night. I started using the Clearasil after seeing a video reveiw on it by magicgrl111. Her skin is amazing!

  • Thx for the suggestion. : ) I've tried Neutrogena products before but didn't really like them cause it didn't really help my skin. What's in the Clearasil treatment? You're right, her skin is GREAT. Did you try the Cetaphil lotion/mositurizer too?

  • Thanks, how did it irritate your skin? I am actually using it after I was done with the cetaphil. So far I'm using it for about two-three weeks. It's going pretty good so far, I see the difference between the moisturizer's textures. I tried the aloe toner from them, I actually loved it!! What else are you using?

  • Interesting. I've always thought "cream" would be creamier /stickier than "lotion," thus I never thought it would be just the opposite!!

  • thanks. i have combo skin & my face tends to get greasy in the t-zone! :) I'm still debating on getting this. :)

  • @bonsnead06

Thanks! It's quite greasy even though it says "non greasy" but it is good if you just use it during night time when you're not going out.
