How do you get around the untaxed fuel issue? North Caroline famously fined a guy $1000 for the same thing. I think if I did the conversion, I wouldn't advertise it.

well i live in france AND I ALSO took my stickers off also i had a powered by vegetable oil sticker THE french authorities dont like tax evasion HERE the fine is 125 five euros. I drive around for free also.

@theoneagain thats why the whole world especially over here in the US, stays with fossil fuels, so they can tax the shit out of it.. They won't embrace biodiesel until they can tax it,its all about the fuckin money...

But seriously...My boss makes his own 'bio' diesel out of used cooking oil and I run my Peugeot on petrol and home made hydrogen with an HHO system that uses plain old water!

Round town I get about 50 mpg and on a run just under 70 mpg. Not bad for a 19 year old OHV engine!

You should make one for your Suburban! :)
