I'm taking Walthers 3-2 lounge Obs, and modifying them into Business Cars and Private Varnish, In HO Scale, Though most are Espee right now, However I'll also be doing ones from other railroads as they become available on eBay, and if the price isn't too steep.
What I do is swap out the original trucks, or modify them to look up to amtrak/Modern day look, I have made molds of the underbody detail to match most of the upgraded equipment used on " Buscars " and " PVs" .I hope to have vids soon.
I shot this same AAPRCO special when it was lead by the SF 3751 steam engine round trip between Los Angeles and San Diego along the Pacific Ocean in 2008.
This train came through my town of St. Augustine, FL the other day and I had no clue it was running. That was a good choice to put the Georgia 300 on back. It's one of my favorite private cars.
